-- Wall Street titan.
Teddy Forstmann continuing his battle with cancer and there is some good news but also.
Some concerns Charlie Gasparino has more forest apparently so what is the prognosis well.
You know I don't know but I can tell you some of the good news is that.
Associates are telling me that the people talk to -- directly.
Are telling me that you know the tumor shrinking that the initial treatment appears to be working.
He is going to work on a fairly regular basis but you know here's the did downside and what we're what we're finding out right now this is what -- some friends out there number one.
He's battling a that's the same type of brain cancer that Teddy Kennedy -- with a former.
Senator from from Massachusetts who did not win him back -- now -- his battle.
A little more than a year after being diagnosed yet to be kept Teddy Kennedy died a much and that's gonna happen here this -- fighting.
Like hell I mean he's really -- -- -- on a very aggressive treatment.
But they've concluded it's the same type of cancer.
One of the other problems is that you know force minutes is when you tell -- -- -- is very angry at his New York doctors.
That they misdiagnosed as for about a year knows what's kind of very saying here is that per year.
His New York -- still he had meningitis or something like that they did not think.
Brain cancer -- he was going for many tests then he goes to the Mayo Clinic this thing you know he's not feeling well.
And the Mayo Clinic to -- basically diagnosis and with approved a fairly late stage brain cancer and as nice as that same with the saints.
Similar to that that -- -- which Teddy Kennedy so.
Has so.
The the issue here when we do these stories it's you know this -- is a major player but -- -- the company ING this big sports marketing company.
And this is where when you talk to friends of Teddy he has his concerns.
-- meet these Texas legacy he's a great turnaround artist you know uncle street was one of these major turnarounds many other companies.
He wants ING to be in that sort of in that job for a it's doing fairly well he believes there's more to go.
The question is and what he wants he wants to be around to make that happen and obviously you know like -- said.
He's fighting like hell he's not just gonna roll over and put this -- -- he's fighting like hell but you know it is an uphill battle.
He he -- aggressive treatments sometimes it doesn't equal being able to work your way through because it's quick.
And it's hard hitting and it's and then knock you off your feet last and you and I spoke he was continuing to go into the office and work is he gonna continue trying to get through the -- yes yes they tell me -- is pretty engaged it's hard.
It's not easy people let's see him saying you know it's if if -- listen this is of is this hurts it's not easy to go to work when you getting this type of treatment.
But he is this -- this -- -- a tough guy is an area that is new in my I knew very well this guy.
Is a tough tough man Charlie this is a tough question to -- it's touchy but you know since he's so identified mr.
foursome with ING and they are dealing with the client and that relationships has there been any kind of issue with that any kind of question with a client for their investors and things like that because again he is so much identified -- and that's the Steve Jobs question -- from left it to.
Yeah means it but it's an -- it's important pertinent question if you're an investor -- this is not a public company is a private company but they have investors and it's part of what goes on in the business world.
And you know it's unclear right now.
Teddy is splitting duties with a -- and Mike Dolan was operational guy there.
The real question is does this is there's someone with his vision could step in issues if they have to.
I will tell you that he intends to be around for awhile but this these as -- as I'm pointing out -- -- this is an uphill struggle.
The and I -- Jesus and growth position where they re getting into a lot of different.
Areas you know revenue streams more so it is represented happens I mean there they've got a lot of new things going overseas right I mean you know there's little question about you know what kind of -- moving -- -- -- working with sports teams on there -- from their -- operations to the real marketing and their own branding and whatnot so.
Right and that's what Teddy is telling people that this is unfinished business yeah ING.
And that's what -- that's one of the things that really start -- really weird.
Close friends type edit any good grand -- -- and anybody can beat it it's going to be this -- but apparently it is enough -- right.
Okay.
