And it -- -- -- is expected to get the financial rescue plan a second chance today.
With the fate and that his -- -- -- hundred billion dollar bill possibly resting with just twelve representative.
Our next guest voted against the plan on Monday we'll see what is gonna happen today -- welcoming democratic congressman.
Congressman thank you so much I appreciate your patience this is the at this in the world we're living -- now the breaking news world of the financial community.
You voted -- on Monday you saw the senate bill on Wednesday will -- change your vote today.
Well I'm still undecided I'm examining all the details in the senate bill.
There's been some changes to the underlying bill and then the senate has added an awful lot of -- work.
And frankly are quite a bit of pork.
And so I'm looking at the changes to the underlying bill which primarily revolve around.
And temporary increase of FDIC insurance for depositors and that's good.
The senate is added some attractive.
Tax Extenders for business and middle class families that's good but.
Unfortunately they've sent it back largely unpaid for it would add a 110 billion dollars to the deficit.
There's an awful lot of pork which doesn't sit too well with my folks back in New Hampshire.
It is the -- -- we have this debate yesterday here on both Fox News and Fox Business as to whether or not in fact.
It was as much pork as much as it was the fact that the house had four of these tactics at expenditures or.
Whenever you whenever you want -- -- lead in the works and those things kind of got thrown into this -- here because some of those were set to expire.
So do -- leading to an as pork -- -- read into it as this was a way to leverage some Republicans and leverage some Democrats.
Well I'm separating.
The tax Extenders which we sent over to the -- paid for largely paid for.
Those tax Extenders came back with a 110 billion dollars of deficit attached.
And then in addition to those tax Extenders there were some other things which have gotten a lot of press.
That are really kind of just throw ins and throw -- that help for the rum industry help four.
Children's -- wooden arrows so there are some things that raise some real eyebrows on on that side.
I think different members are dealing with the question of the pay fours.
As they and come to an understanding of what it means and whether or not they're going to vote for this package.
Congressman I I apologize there I thought we had a little bit -- -- and delay here we're actually -- looking down at the floor and what was going on just the other day here and down.
And an -- and -- and you guys are gonna hit the floor at 9 o'clock Nixon's speech is and then sent to vote on this later around lunch time.
And bringing up the issue that you raise do you feel though that you have enough votes to get this done.
Well I think it's uncertain leadership is not going to bring this to the floor.
If they don't have the votes to pass this package so I think.
Between now and noon -- -- going to see some furious work on both sides of the aisle.
As the leadership -- tries to count every last vote.
As to make sure that they've got -- they don't want a repeat.
What happened last Monday they want to make sure that if this bill comes to the floor it will pass and so they're going to be busy counting votes.
All right congressman we are gonna lead in the air I have I wish you the best of luck today and you'll be hearing on the -- congressman -- thanks so much for being so patient we appreciate your.
