Join us from Indianapolis site of this weekend's race great to see -- -- -- I'll go to you first.
Why did all state get in a NASCAR particularly when they're likely to be a couple of break ups at some point.
You know I honestly it's all about safe driving this it's been an absolutely perfect scenario forests we've been involved with the the racing.
Team and on the end of -- -- speedway since 2005.
And it's perfect for us this is a sport that is filled with car enthusiasts.
This is a sport that is still with protection preparation and making sure that it's all about safety so the synergies are just been so aligned with our planned.
Now Georgia it's been a tough time you came in about a year ago you've done remarkable things -- what is now Gillette Everett -- First of all -- freed up mister -- undergoing and focus on the cards.
Which he does so well because he used to be a great pit man.
And you've got great drivers like Casey Kasey Kahne and others.
But it is it been a very difficult year NASCAR's been losing a lot of sponsorships how do you bring new ones on.
Well I you know what you really have to start with the ones that you have and then we're blessed to have some of the great sponsors.
And I'm sitting next of the young lady who who represents I think one of the one of the prime Bellwether sponsors and the -- sport which is all state.
We're also blessed to have dodge and Budweiser.
Stanley tool and John longer missile management team.
We've got passed by in mcdonalds so what I think our first goal is to be used to make sure that the ones that we have.
Are happy and Friday.
And you would really depends on the NASCAR fans and the good thing about NASCAR.
David is that that NASCAR fans support the sponsors both the sponsors of the cars and the sponsors of the drivers.
And as source for the good marriage for us and we've got great sponsors and you see over my shoulder -- Allstate.
And none could be better than all -- they've been a great partner of ours at a NASCAR racing in general.
-- you mentioned the head of fans the fans are only I think only hockey fans.
Are have as much passion as NASCAR fans those those are the most fashionable.
Go ahead -- No I think it's probably true -- we feel especially out here in Indianapolis Motor Speedway -- just being surrounded by.
More than 250000.
Fans it's it's spectacular.
But you know George not only have have sponsors -- harder to find they're still around this as you that you found out of the Allstate.
But also a lot of the car companies themselves are pulling when they pull out.
That's really difficult is that.
It -- I might I might -- a little differently I think that.
At least the domestic manufacturers are going through a tough time and I think they're being very prudent for their shareholders and they're assessing everything.
They're they're cutting back in many areas.
And and one of them is they are examining their sponsorship of NASCAR.
I have not seen anyone pull out I don't think we'll see them pull out they get a tremendous boost from their involvement -- NASCAR but they they perhaps be little more selective going forward.
All right didn't pull out was it was my mistake wrong word but but the -- -- 140 million dollars that they're spending.
Each year that made -- per car company that may go down significantly -- Well -- information it may come down a little bit but I think that what you've got.
Is right now we bring to the track the 4443.
Openings for each race we have 4748.
And so we may see -- -- but it may be in those extra cars that come to race and trying qualify every Sunday.
It's so I'm not sure that we're gonna see direct cutbacks.
The the marketing departments of these major auto companies recognize the importance of the NASCAR fans in their overall marketing programs.
And so far we've seen their continued support but it wouldn't surprise me if we saw little prudence at some point you're in the near future -- Now Georgie you're in a lot of different things -- got auto dealerships landscaping companies Montreal Canadians you got a piece of is there anything more fun though than being a part of NASCAR.
-- race weekend like this from first of all there's nothing like Indianapolis there's nothing like an all state sponsored -- and Indianapolis.
And does so we we're really having a lot of fun being here I'm sure the race.
Pam was my host this last year before we got in the sport and that we watched the raced together we had a wonderful time and it really was the final.
Point you know making -- decision to invest in the sport so well Allstate was helpful for me and getting into the sport as well.
