-- Elvis Presley despite passing away 33 years ago -- is as popular as ever and it's profitable.
As ever and insert the -- shows celebrating the music of Elvis with more of them that we're gonna welcome -- former wife and -- that nervous state.
Priscilla Presley Priscilla welcome to the.
Thank you very much so having me -- that told -- a little bit about the show.
Well I am sitting in front of the stage at the brand new I am hotel in Las Vegas.
This is the Elvis theater and that production of of this new show is really quite exciting is of course the partnership of out of pressing enterprises with -- so -- And of course -- Being -- way ahead of its time being very unique as far as the abstract.
And and very much on the edge typifies who Elvis Presley is so this partnership was -- a dream actually.
For all of us.
You know I did read some criticism though that the show.
More -- -- is a celebration of of Elvis the public figure and doesn't delve into the mystery of Elvis that -- feel about that.
Well -- -- Alice does this Elvis Presley he was the mystery I mean he created his own you know his life.
Where -- celebrating his music celebrating his movie is celebrating.
You know it in -- celebrating who he was.
I I I don't really agree with that because as celebration.
It's about doing just -- I think with -- at the addition of a home movies now.
I -- to see who Elvis was -- play his sense of humor are he was inducted into the army it shows the very sensitive emotional.
Footage of that time when he left to to -- -- the obviously his parents very concerned.
It out of how how that can be you know you say the mystery.
Why wouldn't wanna -- -- in this do you want -- celebrated -- Big day of celebrations I think everybody has their own favorite Elvis song.
What's your favorite.
My gosh I have I have a lot of favorites but I think.
I think -- I'll have a lot of faith and I mean what song is there not to like about -- -- -- what about this show -- part of this shows your favorite part.
I think a lot of the footage of my favorite -- I think those of wonderful -- of after where it's Elvis's twin brother and him and very few people news that he was a twin and they have an app where this too.
Two guys who are the twins and and it's I could tie that suspends an air on stage.
It's quite -- -- the very.
And I -- I like that kind of kind of fat because it's again it's that and you talk about mystery in -- -- at first it's a very mystery mysterious wondering what -- us all about.
But that's Cirque -- does things in such an abstract way that you have to try to figure out what what it is what's being said.
The fact I really think we hit you stop and think about it the -- shows in this state.
Only because you everything that they have they have a trapeze act they have this girls coming down with.
Live on the mail letters all over their outfits and you -- -- what does that about they have the kind of put it all together.
-- I want a lot of good audience a lot of may Priscilla about how much money -- is his estate has made since he's passed away.
Last week I heard a report -- and the UK that they won't even -- Winston Churchill eighty years from now.
What's being done by the estate to make sure that Elvis is relevant with the younger population younger people know who -- -- -- about his legacy.
Well we're doing it right now was -- to sell a show in Las Vegas this is exactly who he was -- here on a journey.
And then and our our whole mission is to keep felt legacy going he deserves that he gave so much.
Of his life so much -- this talent.
So much ability as as a human being to boot to entertain others to please others and he -- a very genuine giving soul.
So this isn't getting back to him and bringing in -- -- a generation and generations to come up.
I think this is a great start in a hole nearly as -- million unique out.
Priscilla Presley thank you very much and I gotta tell you everything sort -- great everything Elvis there was great so felt like you got a winner there.
