To -- -- a graphic again guys.
-- -- As -- all the GOP pressing the NBA and NFL to think twice about promoting their president's health care law.
So bad now that we have special graphics assigned to it and expanding and so do this -- power.
Afterward that those digital health records a huge and expensive part of this law.
Were found to be riddled with errors and in the -- to -- to law those errors -- accident resulted now in the deaths of some patients.
Doctor speed are -- a lawsuit says that is the reason among many for everyone to run away.
On this including those famous athletes -- it's ridiculous absolutely ridiculous.
Run and run faster.
I can't believe mail that they're trying to recruit the NBA and the NFL.
To put their names against something that is completely hollow.
What -- they want them to sell there are no extra insurance exchanges up.
And people have no clue in terms of what they're going to sign up for.
And I find it very hard to believe that they're trying to recruit such famous people or today's students are librarians it's it's a ridiculous stuff.
Worked but I see -- method of their madness I mean obviously you want to seek out young people at young people watch football young people watch hockey and that's what's that are.
So you got up you're gonna go to that audience.
And and and see if -- saying some wonderful things about health care law they'll sign up because we need young people signing up.
You know today's early older Americans who are who are leading -- workforce and and and really responsible for much of the cost of health care.
Well if any of those basketball players like Kobe Bryant or anybody else today understand the health insurance -- to be able to sell it to somebody.
I'd love to sign him up to him and I don't.
He well that's what frightens me I don't think he's not aware everybody's gonna say I I don't -- I know they might health care law insignia that they might.
That's not to their shirts whatever and and then that's it -- Kobe seems -- like -- -- have like an ice and sign up board.
Well that's the target audience they've got to go after -- exactly right.
They need to focus on the younger audience because they're betting on the fact.
That these younger folks are gonna -- sign up.
For the insurance -- they probably don't need probably can't afford.
To make up for the losses that are going to be incurred because the insurance companies need to cover everybody else I.
What does it gives -- that the math works against a ride doctor mean that it is simple math works against and and I hope they had by now.
To to to cover everyone -- pre existing conditions and to cover all Americans period you need.
Young people signing up to support this.
And and they're not and then the present more -- say they're not really eager to.
And add to that but the fact that a lot of poor Americans that don't think Big Ten and won't.
And a lot of -- those uninsured completely.
Don't think this is really worth their while than what -- -- and we -- our entire health care system -- to do this.
With the hope that we're gonna get to a single Payer system because this fails I think.
So there was a sort of a mock feud going goal to do just that and we might just get that.
What we might get that by default and you and I have talked about this remember even sitting on you know the rooftop of museum -- the law was being I'm embarrassed -- And yeah that may ultimately be where it's going but you mentioned.
You know the whole failure with the electronic medical records.
And look at the hundreds of millions of dollars that have been spent not HHS just released a report.
The congress this month about the adoption.
The adoption rates look promising in terms of the number of doctors and hospitals.
-- complying but when you look at the numbers that you just talked about.
On the flip side of the disasters that are happening.
Either because the systems are clunky.
Because people don't understand the technology and they're making mistakes.
And within the report I've got some props here the bigger problem is that.
Right now the Obama administration has implemented a system that sort of looks like this.
It's a mishmash of systems that have come together that don't connect what is that what are you holding up that.
It's Lagos that all sort of stack upon each other that don't really connect and so the ultimate system that we're trying to get to.
Is this remember these these tinker toy -- -- they do.
Yeah out there -- -- a much anymore I think but the big deal was that we create connected -- more information can flow and information they accessible but guess what.
-- McKesson -- the -- of the world have made a killing in terms of selling their systems but the problem is nobody is willing to give up the data.
Everything we built all of these fiefdoms.
Where the data doesn't.
There's a community and without that always knew about their -- the fact that you brought these toys with you but.
Really a very good see you get my friend that was very well explain.
Thank you very much -- good to see you all right.
