Very much right.

Managing over one billion dollars in assets.
And joining us now is Susan Kaplan Kaplan financial services president congratulations.
-- well done job well done I'm sure your customers appreciate this.
And we appreciate you coming -- now you are bullish but you do expect at some point in the near future about a 5%.
-- back that's pretty significant what do you think some of the triggers for that pullback will be.
I think the triggers really amount to the sequestration the cutback in government spending and Obama care filtering through the economy.
Much slower than needed to -- jobs.
And you also Susan you're looking for a little bit of a pull back and you're calling for a slight pullback but.
Is that a short term pullback present a pullback for the year are you tell your -- -- to kind of watch out for profits.
No women who we have all.
Three indices up 15%.
Then I would expect some kind of selling some kind of pulled back but I really think of that is temporary.
Can we get right to the business of of why you were considered so successful and and start with sort of overall and -- general advice.
You have portfolio allocation for retired folks a lot of the people tuning in right now retired or.
Getting closer -- worried about how they're gonna allocate their funds used to be kind of a simple deal -- fixed income used to be simple it's not so simple right now how would you allocate.
For folks who -- retired are looking to retirement.
Generally speaking I feel that for retirees.
The best -- occasion is a third a third a third.
A third absolutely safe in fixed income.
But individual funds not funds funds maturities less than five years and the very highest quality triple -- rated -- Insured Munis then a third and flat out gross to protect them -- from inflation.
And then a third.
In one of my favorite.
A parts of the portfolio which -- the balanced funds -- a whole population of balanced funds that have within one fund.
Cash bonds and stock and depending on the prospectus and the goals of the fund.
Those proportions change but that balanced fund portfolio gives a lot of growth potential but much less risk and delivers income you need in retirement.
The income generated by the bond portion of the bounce -- and in dividends from the growth portion.
What decision that you made a change and I don't think a lot of advisors are really -- this yet is emerging markets vs global funds you're actually.
Somewhat bearish and emerging markets are kind of backing away -- not going to more of a global fund which means that maybe your opinion the first world.
It's coming back and emerging markets aren't gonna see the big growth us that that question they've been for the last three years I mean -- Seng up.
Basically if you look at the returns of the emerging market funds that they are not.
Competitive with the global the international -- certainly the US funds and part of it is.
Sort of the search is -- her.
Part of it is that we're not investing as serious dollars in emerging markets as we were last year -- the year before and so I think the global funds.
On which include international and US companies that are the top performers are doing better.
Okay and and again keep that keep that up there those two pics of Susan's because what we have as.
The Oppenheimer global fund that's a class a stock and then the T.
This is a blue chip growth fund it is for growth but it does focus -- those -- Chip stocks right Susan.
Didn't correct send and end it would you do any individual -- or would you leave it to these -- there's a lot of investors out there.
Have sort of given up on individual stock picking.
Generally most of my clients of individuals -- individual bonds in mutual funds but the mutual funds can really capture especially when we're dealing with.
Large cap blue chip stocks they can really capture.
On that -- efficiently in that way and less expensively Susan broke up front leg I can't imagine you're number six finalists last year this year you'd ever want what's your secret that -- I really.
I really am very concerned with my client's -- the portfolios really reflect.
The client's goals and I think it's that -- -- focus on the -- Palmer.
Well whatever -- -- -- -- and a customer thank you Susan is -- Kaplan Kaplan then it'll serve us congratulations by the lack.
