But these are people that are taking the time going on -- -- -- the website that's the national highway and traffic safety administration web site.
And logging in their complaints of people that have been actually very proactive.
About the type of complains that they're making about their car but Jessica did they even know power train from steering wheel.
Well that's the thing I think battle a lot of people you're asking the consumer who you know let's say phase of most of us are mechanics -- not really sure.
Are are categorizing these complaints so if you actually look -- other rod -- a few of them actually quite a lot of them are -- categorize.
Well if somebody asked me what the power train wise I'd have to say I don't now back.
Let's look at these brands with that have -- that have the most safety complaints Toyota and number 123000.
Is this just because these -- the big brands.
Yeah I mean you look at these brands that they sell the most cars.
And also -- a -- years back tejada had a little problem with unintended acceleration.
Which really caused a flurry of complaints -- -- to this day I think you see.
Perhaps some of those owners being a little bit more vigilant in -- of -- more vocal about writing -- and saying what's wrong with their car.
You know I want -- drill -- some of the models here -- really get a lot of complaints Jeep Wrangler.
Big complaints why.
And why did you look at the nature of the Jeep Wrangler vehicle I mean it's something that goes offer wolf supposedly goes off broad.
-- something that has a top that is is a little different than most opposite can come off his -- flexible so I think it's a it can be -- for more problems Wednesday somebody -- is driving your basic midsize sedan break to the shopping center and back.
Ford Fusion from last complaints why.
-- we'll Ford Fusion was due at that at the end of last year so I think he'll be one that we'll probably see go off the complaint list but if you look at a lot of new vehicles they have a lot of technology a lot of things that people are unfamiliar -- And sometimes it when you're unfamiliar with something you tend to think it's not working right and that a result of the complaints I guess people -- We were telling -- to be fair here at this isn't just consumers being cranky.
Sometimes they actually have legitimate problems with cars and there are safety issues obviously with cars -- bear wouldn't be and it's and the world.
Where the issues with the Camry.
And the Ford freestyle.
I'm -- -- I think we'll look -- freestyles actually that you know I it is.
They that is very old.
Is not even on the road anymore so I think that that's some and that definitely has been phased out -- -- -- had some problems in the past.
And Camry I mean that is why you know what -- -- of the best selling vehicles on the road today so I think a lot of people.
Well I think that there is you know -- problem with their car and also falls under the Toyota umbrella which got a lot of publicity from the unintended acceleration issue oh right I forgot all about that Jessica thanks for coming on the show great to see you again.
