Turning his four -- areas hoping to rehabilitate their expert witness on the stand today.

And he's in need -- some rehabilitation.

It's doctor Richard Samuels fourth day of testimony.

He told jurors today forming a post traumatic stress diagnosis was not quote.

A simple process.

During a devastating cross examination yesterday Samuels admitted areas lied the during about a valuation.

Joining us now Fox News legal analyst and -- defense attorney.

-- a -- more good to have you weren't just loved it it doesn't -- -- here.

And -- told the board former prosecutor -- -- criminal defense attorney good to have you with this and let's begin now I'm -- with you.

Your reaction to what is happening.

With this so called expert witness.

This is taking psychology.

And all sorts of new direction.

Absolutely and another thing that's uncomfortable for the defense about the circumstances basically their own expert witness has essentially turn into an impeachment witness for them.

Which basically means that now their own expert is testifying about a variety of lies -- their client has told so this is got to be a difficult situation for the defense and cannot be helping quite frankly.

Jonathan and in this apparently if -- Don't have that defense witness expert witness is now saying and -- his defense.

That it's not an easy thing to do route to evaluate someone's.

Site psyche.

Listen experts are paid to give an opinion usually favorable to the side that's paying him.

This guy got on -- -- that hey listen not only did she tell me -- I know a couple of dozen lies but I don't think those lies are relevant to my diagnosis and the bottom line is little.

-- have to questioned.

But why should we believe -- areas now which he's done nothing but but lie.

And how come -- can remember what she had for lunch on arbor day 1992.

But she can't remember mutilating -- both -- and that's what this guy is suppose that reads all -- not doing a good job.

And since his trial began.

I mean the allegations none of the allegations.

Relate.

That the victim Travis Alexander his name is often forgotten in all of this.

That he -- -- -- had it was sexually attracted to young boys none of it has been proved with evidence or are testimony.

What.

What do you make of that -- You know it's it's a real problem because all you have via this expert testimony in through the defendants contest -- testimony in the series -- -- is.

And so it's hard to know what the jury -- thinking but they've got to be wondering about what part of the story if any of it is true and certainly this expert hasn't really.

Appeared to help the defense and making headway on that issue so.

I don't know that the jury is buying any of that at this point.

I want to turn -- made to this through this incident in New Jersey businesses this is outrageous.

Or police officers from -- and township.

And representatives of the department of children and family show up at this man's home who happens to be a firearms instructor.

Charles has its home don't they they didn't call him didn't during thing because somebody put in an anonymous tip -- What what is what what is your reaction.

All right this was done half right -- half wrong here's to have my part even though the father is -- certified instructor even though the kid has them on the united even though.

Even though the kid knows what he's doing and he's not violating the law because -- apparently is the one taking the picture.

You can't tell that by looking at the FaceBook page.

You're looking at the FaceBook page and I think you're the parent of a classmate of this kid you steal little -- With a big gun and that's all you know so what do you do DS lite can move on with your editor did you called the authorities that they hey there's a -- with Madonna on FaceBook.

I was -- hang.

-- the -- do you do you agree with that.

Yeah I really -- I mean I think it's certainly legal and anyone who suspects child abuse or child neglect is supposed to report that kind of think the authorities but there hasn't been a crime committed the picture of this child carrying this gun is not a picture of a crime.

And while intermediate thirties have.

They have the -- -- you ask.

About whether or not there are problems in the home.

They don't have the right to go into the home by force and especially not -- -- war without warrant was -- just -- John -- in New Jersey which is more read them I -- -- -- live thing.

That this would be illegal it's illegal for a child under the age eighteen to hold the gun unless he's being supervised by a parent or guardian or certified instructor.

It's after you can't tell that some of the picture so technically the kid was it not by but you can't tell that.

That's exactly my point you don't have a -- you don't have a picture of a crime you don't have enough evidence to go into this house no judge would sign a war based on that information or at least they shouldn't.

Does a township have liability here is the state going to be handing out some money to the spam.

They had reasonable belief that there was a possibly crime going on to probably no liability.

-- in April.

I know I think that it's very irresponsible what these law enforcement officials did mean it really could have caused a dangerous situation by doing what they did -- -- -- walk through that -- guys.

It is they apparently threatened to do.

Allegedly threatened to do -- -- walk through that front door.

-- and -- the firearms instructor on the other side of the without a warrant -- surprise him.

I mean if any he had shot somebody at their word I mean he would not be liable for.

If they busted down the door without a warrant then they would be clearly in the wrong but they and because they not does it can become and then things got.

Great then they were -- And -- -- say very clearly and unequivocally.

The fact that this man has put his eleven year old son through firearms training he himself -- of arms instructor.

And the fact that I mean this is exemplary.

And everything that the authorities did hear my humble opinion it.

Is pure bowl and they should be held accountable -- financially responsible.

I appreciate your humble and that you don't want that humble opinion -- -- because I don't have a lot of that got us a little short political report thanks very real estate if it.
