So it looks like partisan politics can stop at the gas pump a new bipartisan bill on Capitol Hill.

Well enable -- approval of the Keystone Pipeline -- -- the president's signature.

Republican congressman mark -- Mullen says the president has run out of excuses like -- -- hopes this will prompt the president to take action.

I'm -- and welcome back to the -- Tony you know what's the latest -- do you feel like this is really gonna happen.

Well you know when we met with the president last Tuesday.

He -- gonna make -- decision soon.

He kind of thought that it wasn't -- -- as many jobs is that they're predicting.

And but he also said that the environmental impact that that he was concerned about has been answered.

So what his Sunni as I don't know but we're really hoping that he TV -- does what he says he's Monday said he was gonna roll back the red tape a shovel ready jobs.

And you know this could be an easy way he just -- have a stroke but the -- as they go forward we got guys ready to go and this is a huge impact impact on our economy seven billion dollars.

We're gonna talk about 800 and -- 30000 barrels of oil a day that's gonna be half -- what we import from the Middle East.

What what else are we looking for this is perfect for us and it and it limits our dependency on foreign oil about countries that don't like yes.

I mean you can go ahead without the president's signature but as it stands now -- -- the final say I don't understand what just it's not that well at what we're saying is is that he's not -- congress is going to take action.

To go around it and we have enough bipartisan support that we believe.

That.

We'll be -- would do it now it what he doesn't want is that's going to cause an issue for him.

Politically.

If enough members from his own party -- off ship and says we want this to go on I mean the unions are saying I had the units is big supporters -- this is a huge in impact for the unions.

And Thursday and president let it go but the only group the south -- the same -- is environmentalists and he's he's so far has been caving in -- But -- he said he's run out of excuses.

And this is going to be something that's that I believe will be done with her about it.

-- -- congressman if you are able to go around him having a lot of ways that does give him the political cover.

Mean maybe he would like it to go ahead -- you know since unions are in favor of it and if he didn't have to actually.

Sign off -- -- that -- the unions I mean I'm sorry and the environmentalists you know you could say well you know was out of my hands.

Well but also.

There's going to be repercussions of that happens and when he fourteen with his own party.

And it would be better if for him to do it this morning and it would also be easier for us to get the process and it would show that look -- gonna support.

A country that's very friendly to -- I mean they're willing to send -- to us are willing to spend money with us.

Yet they don't do it dude if they don't send it down here and there's a good chance are going to be -- to China.

So what we don't need that to happen now apple is so how have you been able to build bipartisan support on this I mean what have been the factors that are brought the other side aboard.

If this is something you can't say about Washington very often but this is common sense.

I -- this is something that all honestly of both sides can look at for the most part.

And say this makes cans were already used in the oil warship an -- from countries that don't like as.

We've got a country just north of us has always been friendly to us it's -- a great jobs is gonna aid directly affect our economy the small towns and it's gonna go there especially in Oklahoma and our own district.

It's going to impact.

No one can argue with this in the members that the other members Agassi are -- that this pipelines coming through their their own district.

I I haven't met one I'm sure -- areas but I haven't met one that disagrees with getting this project don't want -- what is the timing like in your mind.

We'd like to see this done yesterday.

But nothing that nothing in DC knows that's always make a joke this is the busiest -- -- in that nothing gets completed.

This is something that's that I believe it will get completed but the time wise.

That's almost impossible to put any -- -- time stamp here and it here in DC on anything nowadays.

Yeah all right congress -- Colin thank you so much for coming on we're gonna keep an eye on this story.
