I'm a little bit concerned about the uncertainty and speaking up so that as we make tradeoffs.
That -- -- hopefully we're not cutting things that they're really have great humanitarian and security benefit.
Our billionaire Bill Gates -- -- -- Florida a not so -- billionaire Ron Paul all out on stopping.
Foreign aid.
That is -- -- congress support president of got -- joining us on the phone right now congress and Bill Gates -- for all the right and good reasons wants to continue because it says it does more to.
Even outweighing some of the abuse and -- that comes with that would use it.
Well -- instead of -- keep you cut out the war mongering and had committed that deficit down engagement on the way with humanitarian reasons I'm not gonna fight it even I don't have any confidence in and out because.
I think eight point eight too often -- an enhancement of the politicians.
They did in the warring factions they fight over and I don't -- the record very good it helps people.
You know we spend a lot of time on how this money's being spent what we never talk about where the money come from.
You know you take a Bill Gates he has a lot of money in this foundation that he doesn't get taxed -- yeah.
But what people he attacked whether inflation tax or income tax or whatever.
And so they end up paying in my argument for foreign Asia take money from poor people's -- that's -- -- in the pockets of the rich people in poor countries.
I don't I.
Please -- beyond all that and I I had this where wanted to raise would use it for all look I'm paraphrasing -- I've got it right congress who directly but for all all the the waste abuse and sometimes getting into the wrong hands and sometimes getting added that no -- We still have since ornate started in this country.
-- starving people.
More educated people across the globe he's talking about and that he says is a testament.
To a generous Americans.
Over the years.
Whose money has been put to more good than it has harm what what say you.
Well I mean that's an opinion I don't happen to agree wit that because -- other things that happens around the world many economies -- -- to -- that this -- system at a lot to do with.
Increasing prosperity.
But if if it was prosperity that we have to concentrate on we might think of what's happening in New York City right now.
I -- 50000 people.
Prepaying out on the streets every night while the rich get richer 80% if you worry about education eight.
This statistic I can't -- believe it but this statistic that 80% of those graduate from high school.
It New York City -- breed.
So why do why don't we have to deal -- on taking money from people.
It going to -- although I did put it in perspective when we started you know it is that a blunt.
If you can.
Saving them money by cutting out.
You don't drone mythical old looking for trouble balling people invading countries are useless wars like Iraq and -- via.
I would say I mean save some money cut back on the deficit and and try humanitarian thing.
I mean that would be much better but I still don't endorse it Marley and I don't believe it's practical.
But in the -- -- some such a practical guy and I'm willing to bend a little bit I would say do that but just -- take more money from poor people are inflate the currency.
I you're undermining production that you're gonna have more people sleeping on the streets in new York and there education will not get any better.
Ron Paul thank you very much thank you.
