He's now claiming to transform education by launching -- a university that's an eight week boot camp for entrepreneur news and as we look at more pictures of -- Tim Draper joins us now he's the founder of managing director for.

-- of Fisher javits and Tim thank you so much for joining us I wanna get right to it my -- going to.

Offer a boot camp for entrepreneur is your first us session -- an eight week course it begins the first one around on -- April 17.

Why are you doing this and what to the students get out of it.

Well.

I've always been told that entrepreneurship can't be -- And so whatever anybody tells me that it can't be done I always think well how could it be done.

And so we're looking four students eighteen to 27.

In that range.

Who might have that real spark that little little extra thing where they know what they were put on the earth for or maybe they don't that they know it was more than just.

Sitting in a classroom listening to a professor drone on.

So what kind of skills I mean obviously venture capital they.

These one of beyond subpoenas and again and learn how to pitch should I noticed also among some of the skills you teach ring up -- -- and weapons training honestly -- economic survivalists.

Well I -- entrepreneurship really is a bit of a survival job.

It's a job where where you don't know what you're gonna be hit with and so we have survival training we change the rules to every game out there.

-- we have been volleyball for instance they both sit both teams serve at the same time so -- two balls here.

We we we.

We give them instruction and cooking and yoga and -- -- -- campaigning in a whole variety of other different.

Courses as well as some basic business training although.

Rather than teaching history.

And -- historically businesses operator we -- teaching future and we are teaching the future of energy.

Transportation of Madison.

Technology.

And we are then also teaching the future of finance in the future of marketing and -- those are going to revolved.

And so by focusing on the future it turns out we've hit a nerve and there are an awful lot of schools out there that whose head masters and heads of schools have come to us.

And said well how are you doing yeah as we really did transform.

Forty lives and our pilot and we hope to transform many many more.

Well it's 7500.

Dollars for the course I would imagine that that may be too expensive for a number of budding entrepreneurs out there to they have any options as far as being able to get into the course.

Well had a good entrepreneur always -- realizes that we're there's a will there's away and I think a lot of entrepreneurs can figure out how to get their 7500 dollars.

But if they can't and if they have something to offer.

They can make me an offer.

We've -- we've.

We have a race car driver of this woman right brace for our drivers said she put that -- -- university.

Shield on her on the hood -- -- car.

And I thought OK well that's a good -- That's not a bad traded also at the end of the cost -- they get an opportunity to pitch of their product their ideas.

To venture capitalists.

Yes at the end of the course we have a panel of venture capitalists.

And they have a two minute presentation so a lot of their work.

Is focused on this very.

Very focused.

Two minute presentation and an elevator pitch to a panel of very good venture capitalists and then four of the forty.

Ended up getting funding.

And a lot of them also went back to school or got jobs or whatever but.

Four of our 41 students in our pilot ended up getting funding further the idea and they presentation made.

To those that -- of venture capital it's -- it's a fascinating.

Very much hands on real world experience Tim Draper would break that they should.

-- -- and thank you so much for joining us and I'd love to follow up on.
