I gotta say at the time this is my opinion the tide is turning against President Obama.
We've got a new Washington Post ABC poll it shows that the public trust in the president on the economy.
Is about neck and neck with the -- with the Republicans in congress -- -- gets worse for the present his job approval rating.
It's 50% that's down five points since January joining us now is Sabrina Schaeffer so they'll welcome back you.
Now my point is my position is that this turning of the -- Began when the White House canceled public tulips I think it was downhill from bath Maine I'm on the -- too much of that -- -- On at all I think it put into sharp relief for the American people -- help it how out of whack the president's priorities are the economy's the number one issue for American families are working hard.
-- kids to school getting to -- and we have a national debt creeping to seventeen trillion dollars for borrowing forty cents on every dollar.
Unemployment hovered at 8% for a year now and we had all of this -- -- over this -- sequestration with no meaningful cuts except for tours at the White House so that yeah.
You think this has gotten through to the public do you think that they that the poor performance of the economy the continuing poor performance and now these cults which really.
We're not really serious at all for most people except as the president intended you think that has really turned the tide of public opinion over and above what was -- in these polls.
I think people are realizing that if we want to see meaningful change to that to our budgets our economy -- the national debt we need to tackle entitlement.
They realize that cutting the White House tours.
It's superficial it's not getting at the real problems and I think that that pool.
Suggest that people are opposed the -- that I think that when people are talked to about how we -- entitlements here for the long term how we wanna have solvency.
In the long term that suddenly they actually do believe in in serious meaningful reform even means testing.
That's -- try to but -- get -- is the total opposite of what we've -- for the last four years.
You take you say you gonna cut and -- in any way shape -- -- and -- out you win the election if you go against the cutting of entitlement.
Well Republicans might not like me saying this but I think that that is actually winning passage for them I think that they need to just get behind that and and what problems is that you're Republican.
-- -- -- He describes as a conservative conservative and he writes -- and you say that the Republicans should now say.
Get to grips with -- it is a winning message I think that they shouldn't be afraid of -- because one of the problems is that the message is always being driven by the -- And if you have it at the Republicans don't respond now they don't get behind the Ryan I didn't really come out there something.
Consistent and -- they're not gonna they're not going to be elephant so to benefit from this stop in the -- last point -- idea I think the polls are showing that that the crisis is how it's in how we govern ourselves at the American people within.
We don't government -- people are fighting still when we talk about entitlements where it has to be -- in how it helps the middle class to save those presented.
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- I'm sorry we're out of time Sabrina but we thank you very much for being with us today I think -- very important subject the timing of -- -- -- I the FDA warns that -- as Z.
