Refusing.
To with the journal news.
Newspaper.
To -- into the Second Amendment are the legislation on gun control its working its way through the senate.
Now how do you react to that kind of attitude on the part of the senate.
Well I don't know I still laying -- -- this whole thing it has nothing to do with stopping violent crime.
Nothing really did do -- making children safe from if they want to make kids safer.
Really put security in schools police officers armed security gonna make the streets safer.
Force a federal gun laws on the books against drug dealers and gangs and violent felons.
This is simply a decade long attack on the Second Amendment and that's really what it is.
It's what it is how do you react though when a senator who's wants to come across as he did in his 2010 campaign.
Measure as a top NRA and our.
Well -- supporter and now he's he's -- it.
Well I mean that the legislation -- -- done about legislation not talk about the senator and his attitude on the Second Amendment.
Why wouldn't he stand up and how do you react to those were comments.
While I don't know why he's silent now than maybe represents West Virginia and -- my guys people West Virginia want the Second Amendment protected I mean the the guns that they were talking about banning -- Dianne feinstein's bill.
Perform no different than the guns they were not talking about banning this.
That anybody -- -- about firearms and I know you do.
Knows that that two to three cartridges on the small end of the powers gale of rifle cartridges and yet.
They say well they wanna -- that because it's more powerful weapon a war like our soldiers used.
Every round.
-- homeowner's -- whether it's.
243 to 7025.
-- 630 -- six.
Or bigger calpers 308 damage they're all larger caliber as they don't wanna ban those -- -- Gun owners know the truth they may be a victim of all this misinformation the media but that's why they're so frustrated right now and -- As your membership growing.
We've been reading accounts that I've I've taken a number of well over four million right now right.
Yeah we have grown to five million -- -- 500000.
Last two months and there are thousands growing every day.
And other things that you said the gun owners are going to be the victims here.
At the same time we're watching.
Inexplicable.
Without any any voice from the Department of Homeland Security.
-- are watching you know another purchase of 7000.
AR fifteen.
Like rifles we're watching these two billion.
Rounds of ammunition principally forty and nine millimeter.
Are we are looking at their purchase a 2700.
Light armored vehicles in the midst.
At least allegedly 2700 of those vehicles.
What in the world -- going on as the homeland departments -- Department of Homeland Security seems to be arming up.
And the administration's trying to disarm.
American scientists.
Yeah I mean you're gonna end up of these politicians get the way where all those that -- have taxpayers security are gonna be protected and does -- have bodyguards -- be protected in the criminals will still have whatever they want.
And the -- average law abiding American is gonna be the least capable person society capable of defending themselves I mean that's where all this is leading.
-- well you and I both know that it's very unlikely.
That it would be a call matter -- -- have absolutely no guns in this country.
Senator Schumer Joseph mansion Mark Kirk I mean some of these -- scare the Dickens out of me senator Tom Coburn Oklahoma.
Working on a universal background check.
This looks to be frankly a very interesting.
Potentially Trojan horse move.
On the part of the senator Schumer.
To build support for universal background check that could become quite something else senate conference committee.
Yeah that's exactly right -- what it's gonna end up as -- registry and all the law abiding people were already a billion dollars in the this Nationalists and check system.
There are delays the metal records for most of the states aren't even -- -- the administration has made it very clear they have no intention of prosecuting they call -- Paperwork violations well.
My guess that the whole thing is not worth the paper it's printed on if you don't prosecute they're not not stopping anyone.
It -- yet they want to expand it to a hundred million law abiding people in this country.
We did put all their names on the list and we know what happens with that the politicians say the never confiscate they said that in the UK.
And then they broke their promises and we all know what happened.
Our our promises are enshrined in the constitution I'll stick with those promises -- don't need any others -- -- out.
Right thank you so much for being with -- comebacks and keep dispose of what's going on here well when -- is the head of the NRA excellent.
