This is my first introduction to color diamonds that there incredibly popular how are they colored why do they have different colors yellow pink blue.

So simply -- the color diamonds the color is determined by the chemical components.

That are found in the minds where these diamonds are mined and so for example it's already in the debt -- -- and the actual -- -- lends itself to specific color -- let's look at some of them which he like that's here.

How that's a trick question.

For me personally.

I love this to carry it -- -- blue.

Diamond -- why is it -- so bar on is actually the chemical component and that.

Meeks the blue diamonds have their blue -- And -- on can be found in the mines were blue diamonds are -- So it's really really interesting because there is a very strong scientific component that's me about the setting because it's very unusual it's a flower of Smith army -- -- it's.

We we have our own in house team.

Of designers and Jewelers and every stone -- care of stones or collection of stones that we receive.

We sit down with the team and -- really -- this diamond to the talking so if you like diamonds and we let the diamond yes they -- got it right.

I heard that you're diamond whispers that -- -- What's interesting here is you have peak you have blue you have yellow and apparently this is what investors are clamoring for now why.

While the reason that.

He investors are self -- -- in these -- is because they are incredibly.

Incredibly.

Rare.

Color diamonds especially over the past few years have become increasingly rare.

-- -- -- -- I think there now might lower that's gorgeous and that's -- diamonds he would think pink sapphire it's not now exactly and that's also what people like about color diamonds.

Because they're somehow -- less conspicuous.

Then something that's very big and very obvious.

So that you don't think this is conspicuous but I think it's amazing.

Is so it's pink how -- they get to be peak so what's that's about pink diamonds and -- diamonds for that matter is that.

There's -- -- chemical components so it's really due to a structural anomaly within the stone that happens in that earth.

And it comes out when it comes out like that well after being cut and polished buyer master craftsman.

Well -- I had just transfixed -- of course I even get me out here.

I I've never seen so many diamonds in one place I -- a diamond tie.

Look at this just beautiful.

And I can't imagine how much this costs.

Quite a few million dollars right -- just around your neck.

And then I have a at cuff thought I had and beautiful bracelet diamond bracelet on as well.

And that's a few 100000 dollars and this necklace actually there's 300 carats of diamonds.

In this piece alone 800 stones and we spent a year and a half collecting each and every one of those stones.

And nine months crafting it into what we like call.

Like you said a -- -- it's.

Unbelievably beautiful and you mentioned collecting the diamonds of course you're working with collectors how do we investors pick the right piece what are they looking for.

Well first you want to know who you're buying.

Your diamonds from.

Now in terms of colored time minute your gonna say -- never your by your diamonds for -- and also true well let it aren't your typical little snippets of your questions -- I hadn't.

With colored diamonds that you want to look for sounds with the greatest color saturation in the stone so really really strong powerful colors as -- shot now when you're you're looking at diamonds aren't colored -- looking for these are absolutely for so.

Actually with onions are looking for the exact opposite you want color list.

-- -- Color and flawless or near flawless in terms of clarity.

Well these are -- so gorgeous.

That you have to wonder if they're real they're so perfect.

But they are but they are -- -- -- and -- lot of diamond say so is a market growing and what kind of appreciation can I expect candidates class.

So I can tell you that over the past.

Hundred years -- -- only appreciate in value.

Over the past decade.

The average Simon has appreciated.

15%.

Per year on average 15% freer so no doubt about it you were beating the market with that when my friend idea.

As sexy well last year but not that well exactly and what we do outlook via -- the is far from average these stones which is the top tier of -- diamonds and white diamonds.

They've appreciated.

100%.

-- conservative in most cases the stones have appreciated almost 200%.

In value.

So I'm I'm imagining myself putting this in my house somewhere should I keep it under lock and key how do you care for these -- should Wear it that's I thought you couldn't line everything nicest things about investing in diamonds is that.

It's not only in investment that you keep locked up in a portfolio or in your -- but it's something that.

Has a sentimental element that you can -- that you can enjoy that.

You put on and you feel absolutely beautiful.
