That's not going out of the bank you don't generally hear people making light of getting fired but he now acts Groupon CEO Andrew -- and since taking quite well in fact he took the opportunity to poke fun and in south.

Basin is known of course for being quirky in -- -- extent track.

But what this is funny farewell to little to -- -- zone -- my favorite marketing -- -- -- angry with the Chris singer -- about being create and so what do you think of this little no resignation.

I think it was great.

Melissa I gotta tell you I read and I thought it with a piece of genius.

I I wonder if he actually wrote it or for -- whole team of marketing people wrote it every step at a time he lays out.

It's wonderful.

First of all I'd love the way he starts I'm leaving to spend more time -- my family no just kidding I was fired.

-- didn't think I'd give you that.

That was funny and I thought it was very honest because nothing is more irritating to me when people -- that they're willing to spend more time with their -- you know at -- total BS.

But the next partly says if you're wondering why -- you haven't been paying attention.

From controversial metrics and her -- one.

To our material weakness in two quarters of missing our own expectations.

And -- stock price that has hovered around a quarter of its price the events of last year speak for themselves.

I mean he laid out.

He's really abysmal failures -- I mean there.

Dubious math at best in their -- want is at the top of the list in.

I mean that's he's gonna be remembered for and he really each be put -- -- -- Outlook.

He's going to be remembered.

For building a three billion dollar company that's what he's gonna be remembered for but remember what we talked -- couple weeks ago about.

How we view he's probably that that Google wanted to -- for six billion dollars but he didn't sell -- to -- I would bring million dollar company they're talking about our.

I would agree would you think that was a big mistake I don't think I've made -- three billion dollar L in my career not that I had the opportunity so yeah that was -- mistake but when I'm talking about how we're talking about the latter.

-- those things out and say.

Look here's the problems get -- off the table he mentioned them and he says.

I'm responsible when was the last time you heard a CEO.

A politician or even a parent say.

I am responsible.

Don't blame them don't -- my people pointing to the loyalty he's gonna get don't play my people it was me.

I think it's brilliant.

I mean.

Kind try to set that it's important that it could mean deep doctor because I I don't agree with that.

But he -- it backs the idea of was he a good CEO or just a creative genius.

Who maybe -- good idea.

Was very create and you know people body was perky but but -- other people who loved him.

But I just don't know that he's a good CEO and I think this letter sort of lays it out.

But but that could be if you think about it that could be the strategy this is a classic.

Where you have a someone whose entrepreneurial has a great idea.

Loves to create it.

Loves to build it.

Doesn't want to managing and perhaps he should realize you know or let's face it the board of directors should have realized that yeah.

I don't think you know somewhat fit me -- housing gonna get another job first of all the guy doesn't want.

Our job right -- good tax gasoline your hundred million dollars or something that was a millionaire households I mean it you know that's another client about a publicly if kids are not now absolutely -- come.

I don't know what he's saying is go ahead.

Go ahead -- -- I think what he's saying is.

He's an entrepreneur or he's older he's that yeah he's not a manager.

And Jim Collins said the right people on the -- In the right seats yeah he gets that.

Although Groupon has been a concept that's been really easy to rip offs I'm not even sure his original idea I mean it's -- at the time but there's not a lot of barriers to entry.

I don't let you go without doing a money -- -- because on a scale of one to money how.

You're gonna disagree do you think it is that he's gonna make a comeback here any type I don't even -- -- to the CEO spot.

Melissa this guy is all money he's all the way and we will not ready.

Idea Campbell you won't find -- not even anyway even before I'm gonna be -- -- Yeah.

You are usually right about these things Bruce thanks for coming on to disagree with me always a pleasure have a great weekend thank you Melissa lot of fun so here.
