Well the cookies on set shooting cookies and chocolate he's ovaries and triple chip I think that's on mint in here.

-- -- is where do we begin.

Right let's start with how you started the business back into doesn't intend what happened in life that.

Basically was the -- between that four Sweden is that these.

While I was a financial advisor with a large firm and before that I was with a smaller firms.

And artists.

I became really frustrated with the kind of the corporate mentality.

The investment firms and how.

The emphasis was always on bringing in more money -- more money rather than spending the time that your clients needed with you know your existing -- And they just want to point out this restoring around.

The financial crisis but you left out of your own -- current events could suit is again -- side coming.

Right guy I was with you through those tough and tough -- and -- -- that absolutely the times to get tough net.

Really tough I mean when you mean during.

Financial crisis or you started.

Well I mean if it was when we -- We kind of like I was so frustrated with the industry -- pursued.

Some more.

I don't know like some work with a different Christian organizations and.

It was mainly volunteers who can really pay so -- like financially without.

Working -- became really tight.

And yeah it was it was really tough because.

Myself my wife and we have five kids.

-- event it.

My youngest is six and then.

11121516.

Thanks trains and on where you they're overlooking -- -- Where it's yes it's west Hampton beach and actually.

And how long we have worked for.

Probably.

I mean I guess you know we we probably started a year after I left.

Smith Barney we start doing couldn't -- 2010.

Yeah.

But he started baking cookies to say thank you to all of people in your church might send them it helped cure them right because it was so tight.

You know it was such a bad time that people like just started coming out of nowhere and manager car -- broken fix it for free.

And the oil burner and it's like a -- I could say hey here's a hundred bucks thanks opportune time.

So I just wanted to come up with a way to say thank you that was.

Nice that wasn't burnt cookies here you're where you at baker before however out of Charleston that I don't know I loved eating cookies -- -- I really I can't even tell you why it.

Made me start baking cookies in particular well how did you come up with via the recipes.

We started with something that my grandmother used to me and there are a lot smaller and it's definitely not as they can not -- -- And we just.

Improvement from that okay it was the first -- look what kind tougher definitely wasn't chocolate chip.

I'm now an analyst like you know had a you branch -- and then you know.

You had because it's like all the time we still a lot of farmers markets and -- and people like aren't what's next and then after that.

Like we used our base though and added you know some more sugar and countless sugar -- and it was very easy to change and -- and do lemon -- And then we -- like -- peanut butter chip.

And then we -- a white chocolate and academia and.

And then my favorite is the triple -- because they used to use those three the chocolate -- -- chocolate -- subpoena purchase.

And one balance like.

-- again I gotta feeling funky -- to -- that's my favorite.

It's.

Did surprise you that a -- he could be common business for you.

Absolutely think and the cool thing is we had no intention of it being a business.

And it kind of grew out of us saying thank you so.

Yet you told me five years ago I was gonna be an -- -- cookies.

There's no way I wouldn't believe and -- coming scientific.

We are in a lot -- on Long Island we have a -- shop and west Hampton beach where we -- -- of but the thing that we're trying to push right now are the online sales.

-- -- -- We have a marketing company that we use we try to promote it through Twitter and FaceBook can I just follow the people that have bought before.

Because for us on line like we use all natural ingredients no additives and preservatives.

So we get a two week shelf life.

So sometimes it's difficult like the cookies are you have to wonder how long they've been on the show -- -- -- some.

But with on line somebody orders on we'd be commission so we're you know we guarantee that crashed leaving candidate home now or -- we have.

Commercial.

Right facility.

And with the Wall Street background you have an MBA could probably figure out relatively easy had -- start all of that up.

Your Christian and obviously have a good heart that's obvious.

I just meeting you're talking to you do you give back out off we -- you -- him.

For us and I think that's something that is like deep in our core mom.

We feel like the more we can grow the more we can give my -- we like that's what our company thrives on and we do.

We do a lot of food pantries and people in the -- and it's it's cool looks like we know what it's like to be down.

And then there are people in that situation like we -- the -- -- like the food pantries like they get excited and it's like it's not huge but it's it's cool for us to be able to.

I still get.

And who doesn't like it could be that every -- coming due today.

I need a lot of -- actually and that's -- far -- yeah.

I once had my -- Obama okay.

How hard was it for you to open up your cookie business due to regulations.

Very difficult it was funds rate that things intense -- -- what happens then if I mean we like.

My mom was so gracious because -- -- was better than our success there okay I'm so we had -- It's like an in house.

Permit from the Department of Agriculture -- writes -- But then after that.

We're still department of agriculture -- markets because we're mainly holes.

So they're wonderful and if you can deal with them they're there to promote business and help you can.

So they were wonderful that there are a lot of regulations to be adhered -- are you profitable right now.

Getting there -- what we where and then we opened the bake shop fat.

Expansion and now that Horace Andy Terry founder of speed and -- -- thank you so much for coming on we did show -- website now are showing your lovely cookies current I will be --
