To be to focus all week for the markets and in DC in Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal had this to say about it all yesterday.

The president proposes sequester he signed this in the law and now doesn't -- -- make these cuts.

The reality is nobody saying he's making these exact cuts but we can cut -- 3% the budget without -- out our military without jeopardizing air traffic.

Without jeopardizing meat inspections it.

In a nutshell the Republican argument Bret -- from special report on the Fox News Channel joins us now from DC I would say Brett conceived by the way is always that -- You know there were pocket that the the general public it may be paying a little bit of attention to this whole sequester.

Budget cut argument that this week they'll start to really tune in as they always do right before that.

The deadline so just to clear a few things up governor Jindal says the sequester was the president's idea that's true right because there was some debate over that.

It is sure that I'm Bob -- here is taking the Bob Woodward book cried that whole idea.

They did he'd -- kind of detailed it pretty well and in his book from insiders and it was Jack Lew and and rob nabors who.

Came up with the idea and the discussion about.

The debt ceiling deal and they came up with.

The sequester as being this trigger and right being something so bad -- congress would have to.

Get the super committee that was set up.

To come to some agreement and so the White House.

Came up with the idea and they conceded that just last week Jay Carney did on on special report and then they did -- at the White House briefing on Tuesday -- speaking of.

Bob Woodward Bob Woodward the -- Washington Post reporter again over the weekend.

Came out because he wrote an opinion piece a column.

In which he said that the White House said could move the goalposts on all of this from referring specifically.

To taxes to the revenue side of -- that originally that was not going to be part of the sequester.

How about that side -- because the White House is pushed back where's the truth fly there.

Well you know it's interesting that the White House is saying that that the Republicans came forward with the replacement.

Saying that they were interested in.

Replacing it with revenue -- that that is true after the subcommittee the super committee was finished.

With -- deals so there's there's an element of truth to what they're coming back with but -- point is is that -- regional deal.

Was that this sequester.

Itself.

Was to not deal with -- revenue at all and that if it got to that point.

He was strictly cuts right so we are at that point Jack and his point is you are where you are.

And that this didn't have to do with cuts and dad this had to do I mean this didn't have to do with revenue this had to do -- strictly cuts.

And that's why it was supposed to be so bad because it was cuts that the Pentagon and cuts to.

Domestic program.

Right -- would support the Republican side of the that they don't wanna go up -- -- -- -- tax -- -- more revenues -- the other thing and -- -- -- a lot of inside Washington stuff but again I think it's important for people to -- where.

Everything stands and you know all about this kind of thing the other thing Republicans have been -- the president doesn't have a plan tech literally just -- doesn't have a plan the -- SA.

They they claim they do have a plan -- -- to telling the truth there does the White House have a plan.

Well they have a plan.

But they haven't that they don't have any legislation.

Percent and in the senate Democrats put forward something that.

Got through a senate committee.

But the senate controlled by Democrats did not pass any thing on the senate floor.

So there's nothing legislatively.

That Democrats can point to and say.

Paid this past one body of congress.

The house Republicans however can say that they passed.

To substitutions.

For the sequester out of the house of they have done that twice now aren't dating -- did it include.

New taxes no.

Neither of them did now that's something Democrats don't like but they want the so called balanced plan.

Well.

That's where there is an impasse.

There is not the balance so.

The senate Democrats haven't moved their balanced plan from the committee to the floor because a lot of people say.

Actually that plan might not pass the democratic sent.

OK so there it is Saturday setting us up very well as his prepare for the week ahead you know we're gonna have Michael Phelps on -- a few minutes the famous swimmer.

You know we take he took up golf and we know your big got quite durable handicap golfer write you played that at prime -- what you and I did -- I -- -- like okay five point two Endesa gets any advice to mr.

Mr.

Phelps until I don't keep keep hanging with tanking again and he can manage it could probably fix your -- pretty well.

It's an insane isn't it distraction and see nice and why would you wanna take up golf it's the most.

But you probably more level -- -- you're throwing your clubs are on the course now it's fantastic when you hit a good one else was gonna come back.
