Welcome to the week ahead in business I'm Christine it's got any -- lack.

As the clock ticks the battle of -- sequestration.

Continues.

Congress has until next Friday to -- across the board spending cuts.

Totaling 85 billion dollars.

There's also a lot of economic data to watch more on Thursday -- the second estimate for fourth quarter GDP is reported.

The first estimate unexpectedly contracted.

So this report will be especially closely watched.

Also on Tuesday the -- As well as new home sales for the month of January that day Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke begins two days of testimony before congress.

Also on Wednesday the pending home -- indexes reported.

In the last report.

Pending home sales dips but we're still up from the year before.

Friday the ISM manufacturing index is reported and personal income and outlays data for January also comes out.
