Act well in another bright sign for the economy corporate travel spending expected to return to pre recession levels this year.

However many companies are asking their employees to travel on the -- How is this impacting morale and the travel industry Allard let's bring in the president of -- association of corporate travel executives.

Suzanne -- -- -- Suzanne thank you for being with us.

You know.

It's good I guess that.

We're getting our people back out there again right is that that one point we thought everything was just gonna be by video conference that we are seeing travel come back right.

Absolutely so focus right predicts that will be at a hundred billion in US travel spend by the end of this year which is pretty much have pre recession rates.

But we're all traveling a little differently so corporations have figured out that the lessons that they learned in 20020020072008.

That those rules don't need to be rolled back to 2006 levels that they can get more out of their travel -- by managing their policy a little better.

So we're talking about like.

Yet easy on the rental car here no more first class even some aren't even reimbursing for checked bags that's kind of get that.

That's right so I get their benchmark survey from last year mid last year found that the number of -- reimbursed first checked bags actually went down here every year.

However that's a little bit deceptive because a lot of most frequent travelers are on the loyalty program with airlines where they do in fact to get a number of one -- two bags that are checked as part of their ticket.

But I think in the grand scheme of things the infrequent travelers are being held accountable for some things than in the past they would not have and wouldn't have expected to have to carry on their -- When they -- detected before he found the same and Wi-Fi actually so Wi-Fi might seem like it's a given for a business traveler on an airline but in fact only about 50% of companies reimbursed for that when -- on the plane why.

And I got to believe that the room service bills being watched as well these days to right.

Are certain industries little -- -- than others found.

I think that's the case corporate culture has everything to do with it so with -- it tech space.

We find that the company policy is much more stringent.

We find -- well that in the the investment banking many of the high end consulting firms that they're still more generous in their travel policy.

I think in many many cases -- companies do expect corporate travelers to use their miles to upgrade for that trans Atlantic or trans Pacific flight if they can.

And rather than simply booking a business class ticket began with has second half affect my -- meaning used to be big perk to travel right and stayed in nice hotel and get that first class C in Atlanta plus campaign when he got on the plane.

Yet you know and morale I've I've -- picky about what positives there are for sitting in the back of the plane so one thing is that bigger sense of equality that.

C level executives may be feel more unified with their workers when they send them back together.

-- but there's another side benefit which I chuckle about not not Tripoli women think of this -- at the man also think about this as well but when you're in the back especially on the domestic.

Flight and you tend to control your alcohol and food level -- take a little better than when you're sitting up front and possibly -- Serbs.

That's fair so there's a plus.

I travel with my children all the time and I'm constantly in the last -- -- there's nothing good about it let me tell you that the Suzanne night I'm president of the administration a corporate travel -- thank you so much.
