There are things.
We can do right now.
To accelerate.
The resurgence.
Of American manufacturer.
Number one.
We can create more centers for high tech manufacturing in America.
I'm calling on congress.
To help us set up fifteen institute's global centers of high tech jobs have -- Well that was the president this week in North Carolina describing a new program he wants to bolster manufacturing in this country especially high tech manufacturing.
You see the president would like to go to all those formally Rust Belt towns that were one time industrial leaders.
And help them become global high tech centers.
High -- right the idea may sound new.
But the goal ultimately developing better paying jobs has eluded many mayors city councils and state legislators who tried different decades to do the same thing.
Even so the president is ready to -- -- up one billion of our taxpayer dollars to spend on fifteen hubs around the country.
And naturally politicians are responding by putting their hands out senator Jack Reed of Rhode Island said he wants some of that show.
To -- billable in such a program.
Because he says the state was the birthplace of the industrial revolution and for that reason he deserves the money then there's congressman my kind of Silicon Valley.
You might have thought that area needed no help from congress led Honda to would like a piece of the action because Silicon Valley is a manufacturing center in its own right.
And honoring and on and on -- goes the president offering our money and local politicians more than happy to -- but up.
What the president has right is that there is a small manufacturing Renaissance going on very small.
What's fueling it isn't a government program but lower costs.
Listen -- this single -- yet at the Manhattan institute says fracking.
Has lowered energy costs so much that it makes the US more competitive.
Watch out China.
Of course the president and his coterie of Brady -- suppose fracking but the impact -- because this is dramatic.
Lower wages in right to work states also fueling the Renaissance but our labor backed president he doesn't go for -- that go in for that either.
Take a look at the state they have seen the biggest creation of manufacturing jobs it's interesting because a lot of these states.
They -- presently the government interference.
Like Texas.
There's also -- right to work state Indiana Tennessee South Carolina Washington these are places where government has succeeded by standing out of the way.
And that's the -- we should be following that's what works that's where we should go.
