Louisiana has one of the smartest governors in the country governor Bobby Jindal he's a Republican.

I don't know about you.
But I Brinkley tired of all -- talk about budget seek frustrations entitlement spending.
When we've got so much going on in this country that frankly is influencing the outcomes.
And outcomes by the way include.
The amount of entitlement spending those deficits in the way in which are.
Elected officials are speaking to a loss in the decisions that they're making and not making.
We need to start talking in this country about the bigger problems the bigger issues in the bigger ideas.

America is in the midst above baby boxed that's right a baby bust.

America's fertility rate.

They have the fertility rate of one point six even worse.
So how do you put that in context how low is that.
Right you've likely heard a lot about.
China and its dreaded awful one child policy.

There's just 110 of a percent.

Higher than China's.

Five.
Fertility rate.
So what happens when your children -- -- Well Japan is a study and demographic disasters.
From the 1950s to the 1970s.
Japan had an average economic growth of five point 4%.
Five point 4%.
This is Japan.
And over that almost quarter century.
That's an extraordinary performance but then all over the past two decades.
Because of that -- and fertility rate.
Their economy has grown by an average of just -- -- -- on average.
1%.
-- -- Japan's fertility rate plummeted over that same period it stands.
At one point three.
