That's -- they -- for coming back on -- show it's great to have you here I was blown away by this story.

I mean somebody's really red face at the union that's for darn sure let me give the example of some of the things that were said by this union.

-- curious do you cook in my education association present members who indicate they wish to resign will be told they can only do so in August.

We will use any legal means at our disposal to collect the do so are you surprised.

Now not in a line in VA -- it is not very surprising it's not very good.

But you know the fact that and that entire memo they were detailing strategies to how to keep membership and all of it was either lawsuits was fighting the bell what -- honestly it was no surprise.

But the fact that they're throwing their own members under the bus -- using any legal means at their disposal.

To keep those numbers from paying dues and not a word in that -- -- hey why don't we shape up -- act how do we serve our members better when they and so -- they have the choice.

They stay with us that -- of that just.

Push push push push -- oil and -- it's not yet.

Other -- attraction there's no okay now this is a right to work stable gonna have to do things differently now it's pedal to the metal on all the old.

-- ways of doing business I guess you'd say let me read you another quote from -- I couldn't believe based.

Members who indicate they wish that to resign this again from the memo or we told that can help I'm sorry just gave you that when we look carefully at this and we believe the impact -- right to work can be -- through bargaining strategies bargaining strategies he wanna get around the law is that what -- gonna do -- -- Well that's what they're doing they're doing that some forced do is claim.

Where there -- getting secondary contracts between the union and the school district said Dahlia especially the school districts because the steep cook's novel.

Where they're trying to extend these contracts for the union security clause so just the claws -- that union -- are.

Has to pay the union and can't exercise the right to work rights.

There -- trying to extend just those clauses for up -- Ten years and has nothing to do with wages benefits or working conditions simply preventing workers from getting -- work right to work rights.

For over ten years.

And you tell me is that good for membership is that putting the worker first or is that just the union saying hey we want -- and when you do everything we can.

To make sure we're getting all -- before the law goes into effect at the end of -- Fencing -- you know year there in Michigan and it do you see is there any reaction.

Inside the union membership against leadership you've got to think at some point.

People are not -- like this kind of tactics and they feel like they're being told what to do and that's gotta be off putting.

Well as in my union members that feel like they're induced purgatory L they saw freedoms coming -- -- month.

Our revised to -- right in two months from now and now the union -- trying to take that away and extend those contracts are almost a decade so there's a lot of workers out bad that feel like the -- being pulled out from under -- Let's talk about -- The kind of impact economically.

Right to work and have a -- really extended to all of the states is in many states now but.

What -- all the country was right to work what would it mean to our economy.

Well what you're seeing in these 24 states that are right to attempt specifically talking about the 22 -- what states before Indiana Michigan big game workers' freedom last year.

You're seeing higher wage growth.

You're seeing higher population growth.

You're also seeing -- -- -- cost of living workers in those states are actually making them more.

Still from a help just and it's not just worker freedom from an economic standpoint right to work is actually helping workers.

And those governors in those right to work states.

They're able to bring more companies.

Into those states are more job opportunities there's a big debate about whether at the end of the day these people actually make a lot more money but.

What we do see is more economic opportunity that's for darn sure -- thanks for coming by tonight great conversation interesting step -- to keep our eyes on.

I'm a union bosses memo -- appreciate it -- Hey thanks -- if you're viewers want to know more.
