Hey Diane unemployment rate actually went up to seven point 9% in January it was expected as you said to remain steady at seven point eight but nonfarm payrolls rose.
A 157000.
That was about as expected but the Labor Department did report.
Some big upward revisions for November and December an extra 127.

More than were previously.
Reported but part of this is due.
To the annual benchmark revisions that they Labor Department does in the payroll numbers does it every January.
Based on unemployment tax record -- gets in here so it makes these adjustments and those adjustments -- that the economy actually created.
And -- 422000.

For the whole year 2012.
For a grand total of 2.2.
Million new jobs or about a 180000.
Jobs per month and it does in 42012.
