It looks like the middle class is getting blasted today we learned consumer confidence plummeted unexpectedly.

It is the entire time this has been an instance of shameless politicking when the president first proposed the payroll tax cut way back when in 2010.
That I was gonna create jobs.
And stimulate the economy it didn't do that but it did -- to Social Security deficits so -- -- -- policy in the very first place.
But it did -- one very good thing and it allowed Americans to keep more of their own money in their pockets which philosophically.
I -- always in favor of American should be able to retain fruits of their labors now congress and the president have allowed.
-- -- to go up on Americans at a time that they can least afford it and so yeah we just heard the president say again and again and again.
But he doesn't care -- that he that he cares about middle class families that.
I think it's evident yet he doesn't when he cares about is going to.
And I got a tape taken in a step further do you remember all the videos.
That were on the White House web site all these people that really showed you this.
How much is extra money meant to them I mean -- life and death.
To urge workers -- the thing -- -- your heart like while we need to make sure that everyone gets these payroll tax cuts and and they were up their by the way.
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- You know I'm along with you I agree that people should -- more the money they earned not necessarily including Social Security but it's for a -- -- that that the president.
Was not being honest when he says he would not high high taxes on the middle class.
Yet you just -- not necessarily in favor of living social security and nothing -- really wanted to Eiffel dot com expect.
Americans cannot afford the payroll tax hike and what that really means is that we cannot afford Social Security yeah.
-- this tax hike is -- we've got another think coming to us because the real rate of taxation.
Is always the spending level if we're gonna maintain the current government programs that we have are either gonna have to continue borrowing money.
Are we gonna have to raise taxes and make no mistake we can not afford to pay our trillion dollars in.
Unfunded liabilities just by taxing the rich taxes will go up on all of us.
Well we've already seen in the example that -- you know listen you might not have been surprised with that consumer confidence number but I gotta tell you.
I was in and that and because of the did dramatic decline it was sharp it was parts.
And also by the way people than they were asked about future what do you expect in the future.
That came down dramatically I think people just are are really concerned and worried and I think more more Americans appealing that may be -- right.
Maybe I got a long maybe the president wasn't being honest with me.
Yet not just the payroll tax hike I think that's affecting those consumer confidence numbers.
I think it's also just the general climate of uncertainty in Washington right now and again -- Americans don't want higher taxes than they're going to have to demand spending cuts are gonna have to the -- entitlement reform.
And quite frankly they're gonna have to voted to from president and a different congress.
