-- her -- look like after -- trip through the senate consider this the latest Fox News poll on immigration policy shows 66% of those surveyed.

Say illegal immigrants deserve.

-- pathway to citizenship but does that -- include full amnesty endorse stricter border control to Potomac research group's chief political strategist -- valley -- Greg that is the biggest when -- contention between the parties right the pathway to citizenship.

Yeah I think that's right Laura and I suspect the White House will be more lenient more liberal I think that.

The house in particular will be more conservative but did this is like a locomotive this thing is going to make it the momentum for immigration reform is really.

Impressive.

So what are your thoughts then on what a compromise might look like because to your point we know that the president favors a more lenient policy where Republicans want to close the border.

I think the White House will go along with that I think within reason -- -- agree to a lot of these proposals in this bipartisan.

Plan.

-- when you get people like Durbin and Schumer a Liberal Democrats going along with something with John McCain and Lindsey Graham.

That's pretty good sign that this will pass easily in the senate I think one of the most intriguing stories this.

The fight for credit I think you're going to be a lot of people headed by Marco Rubio who want to get a lot of this credit.

On the political side but it also begs the question -- -- about.

What happens to the millions of illegal immigrants already living and working in this country -- put additional pressure on the available jobs out there other services like hospital care etc.

we think.

I don't think so I I would prefer to take.

A positive spin on this entire story I think if you look at a country like Japan which is a demographic.

Train -- with a huge deficit much bigger than ours.

We're adding lots of people who will pay Social Security taxes who will pay other taxes you're adding to our population I think -- workforce.

That will actually help our fiscal issues far more than a country like say Japan.

Good comparison help our fiscal issuer eight issues with more people take paying taxes or perhaps -- -- period time.

Yeah I've always thought that the wall street journal editorial page has gotten it right when it comes to immigration and the within reason.

You don't want to have totally open borders that's crazy but within reason.

More immigrants means more taxpayers it adds to.

The economic base and I think at the end of the day this -- wind up as a positive.

Economic story safe to say this'll probably go down as one of the easiest congressional fights in recent memory.

Well with a congress this dysfunctional.

That you get ever say they've got to get -- something that easily there's so incompetent.

And I supposed to could be gridlock -- each party wanting to seek some advantage but.

You got to think this is a pretty easy call that we will get a bill everyone will fight over who gets the credit.

That the but again I think it.

Having a pathway for these people is -- let me add one other thing I think for a lot of big businesses especially tech companies.

A sleeper is H one B visas.

Those H one B visas allow very talented foreigners computer programmers engineers.

To come into the US that's a big story for a company like say at Microsoft.

Sure sure.

Listen I think it's a great message for Republicans we know that that Romney did not do as well as -- Republican predecessor George W bush with the Hispanic vote in it was just a landslide in favor of the precedent so that we appreciate your take on -- Great Valley air.

You that.
