Joining us now is one of the other Democrats who signed that letter to the president -- Caught fire Democrat from Arkansas joins us now from Washington senator welcome the program very good to have you -- You thank you and I do agree about Mark Warner he's very very pro business -- he's really.

Gets the economics of all this and he's someone that we definitely look to within the senate on economic issues.

That's senator -- some of us were surprised to see nine Democrats in the senate.

Asking the president to approve the Keystone Pipeline because the environmentalists basically hate this thing they do not -- -- so.

I'm wondering why.

Do you want -- built in the face of -- environmental opposition.

Well I'm not sure that the environmentalists have made a very sound case on this I mean.

You know they're been I think for half years' worth of environmental studies on this they're gonna ask that not.

-- is they're gonna build this pipeline there they had village north south where they're -- abilities Weston dale west they're gonna take it to China take the older China.

I would rather be refined in the US and -- in our engines because we know that it's gonna need US environmental standards and you know we have.

Very strong standards in this country so.

I think I don't know what the environments where they come from but I think it's been studied.

I think these pipelines are safe -- bill and pipelines for a hundred years come on you know we can do this and this is a good thing for the US.

Do you have any insight into the president's current thinking on this issue.

There was a report in the New York Post couple months ago that said that Lisa Jackson -- the EPA was leaving.

Because she believed President Obama was in favor of building about pipelines and at any update on by the do you think the president will sign us.

-- I don't have any more information and really you do my senses that he probably will sign it another a lot of people were talking about this last year insane.

He wanted to put this off of that election that may or may not improve but also we had to wait on Nebraska.

Now Nebraska has acted in it squarely.

In the administration's court at this point so you know I certainly hope he does I think it's I really think it's a win win win across the board for the US economy.

And for lots of different reasons I think he needs to do this some of the -- we appreciate -- being with us thank you very much -- thank you so.
