As the host and hello nationally syndicated radio program and Juliet.

-- -- -- is a Fox News contributor thank you both for being here.

Hugh let me begin with you the GOP goes on a retreats and announces -- gonna retreats on the debt ceiling issue.

So what issue will -- -- the -- in the sand on do you think.

Brother sequestration is scheduled to come in on March 1 if President Obama doesn't get serious about spending and entitlement reform -- Then 85 billion dollars will be cut out of the next year's budget that will be extraordinarily bad for the Department of Defense but even worse for people on Medicare etc.

So the president just keeps talking and not acting the consequences of his irresponsibility are going to get.

Every single Americans I think the march 1 deadline is a good deadline hi Julie.

That the Republicans -- will cave because they really is -- couldn't win that battle.

Yes I think they heard from their own -- heard from people -- Wall Street they're hurt from the business roundtable they heard from people that generally are supportive of Republican candidates saying essentially that there is no way.

Know how that you cannot raise the debt ceiling because the full faith and credit United States.

Is a risk in of their Republicans want to keep playing playing this brinksmanship the market would have probably been rallying against them not rally with tanks.

And they would have taken the blame I think he smartly realized it's not the way to go but Julie didn't the GOP have a good point why -- the senate passed a budget nearly four years -- what does that say to the hard working taxpayer out there right the senate should have passed the budget in -- humor in that same interview that you showed up just -- said that they're going to pass a budget well.

And and there's no effect.

Well you know I feel like that idea I -- Democrats yet like the idea of them no no budget no pay but I think it's unconstitutional according since -- -- amendment people how much more about.

Legal scholarship tell -- I I don't know but I actually like that idea.

So here we just heard -- let Chuck -- saying -- -- -- is coming down the pike is that really the way to go and what what how second of the receipt.

But I laughed when -- said the Senate's gonna pass a budget to got a lot more faith in Harry Reid in the rest of the country doesn't been four years since the senate passed the budget they don't want to pass a budget.

And when senator Schumer said more revenue -- higher taxes that's a non starter what we're going to see here is the president has to become responsible these guys take on.

Medicare eligibility they've got the -- the CPI they've got to raise the retirement age for Social Security.

We've got to block grant Medicaid that's all got to be done in any kind of -- same budget.

So you're gonna find people like Mary Landrieu who's up for reelection gonna get slaughtered in Los Angeles you look at Tim Johnson up for reelection South Dakota gonna lose that one.

Senator Udall of Colorado up for reelection in Colorado gonna have a tough reelection.

There are 22 Democrats on the ballot in 2014.

Who don't want to pass a budget.

So the Republicans are right to sit back and say we'll give you three month that extensions every three months for an underscore the fact that the president and Harry Reid will not lead.

In the country's going bankrupt and -- I -- Julie Wright I hope they actually pass a budget but they have been able to -- four for four years -- know they have -- now.

And -- attempted to -- -- -- -- you know or entitlement reform -- these things that just literally socking money away every day.

Need to be reformed would you agree well you know we could look at -- reform -- but I find it interesting -- his -- and Medicaid block grants to states have to balance their budget the states are broke.

And if you're pretty.

More onus upon the states are just passing the buck the -- Washington saying hey -- wanna take care of us we're gonna give this to our Republican colleagues.

Some of them governor -- they're gonna have to deal that I'm telling you these Republican governors are not going to be happy.

And they have to block grant Medicaid and they have to choose whether to balance their budget or to pay out -- -- huge mistake.

-- let -- simply bet that's simply not true California aipac yesterday -- Charlie Brown visiting other family Hanoi is broke.

Illinois broke Californians -- democratic Victor broke Ohio where John case accused governor balanced budget Michigan where rich -- -- governor balanced budget.

If you look where the Republicans are governing with Republican majority of a balanced budget and they want Medicaid you amend it according to Jerry -- doesn't.

According says -- -- -- Allstate's constitutions all their budgets happy balance so it's not a matter of some states but budgets are balanced others are not all states have to have a balanced budget -- -- you come out here that's like film.

Yeah.

-- your state constitution mandates -- -- yeah repeated it also doesn't mandate.

It doesn't mandate using real map and -- You -- -- -- -- I don't know I think you gotta take up the people Sacramento but I will tell you got to balance the California budget the same we have to balance.

The New Jersey budget were Chris Christie a Republican stalwart as governor same exact -- -- -- The bank guys here here -- thank you so much you for joining us on this fashionably and gains you -- thank you also -- Click on the -- for the rest of you know that guys thank you very much had a.
