Yes it's morning Rick -- and now joining us from Washington DC and that was certainly.

A politically partisan address we heard from the president.

A political theory away that the US.

Should be governed and should govern itself.

I would almost characterize it is something along the lines of -- response that we heard.

From President Reagan in 1981 recent government is not the solution to our problems it is the problem President Obama.

Essentially making the case that the government isn't necessarily our problem that together we can do great things together we can take care.

Of the elderly together we can a create a health care system for those who may not be able to afford it.

And you know moving forward in tackling debt and deficits he did talk about tax reform he did talk about slowing the growth of these expenses -- still.

No change you in his governing philosophy if not impassioned.

Defense of his -- governing philosophy we've heard from Democrats or Republicans.

Now throughout the day calling for bipartisanship.

Calling for working together to solve our problems.

But this is inauguration day it's much like Election Day after.

All the the votes are tallied in and everyone has a moment of together -- showing a willingness to work together.

But you still have a very divided Washington and -- Washington it's trying to weed through these problems with two.

Very different governing philosophies two very different ideas on how to -- -- success.

Then you mentioned -- philosophy and also talked today this proposal being floated about right to extend the debt ceiling into the spring.

Right and this is a three day proposals Fremont proposal excuse -- Republicans -- vote on -- a few days.

In the house it has not gotten completely shot down by Democrats we may actually get a three month extension.

Of the debt ceiling for extending that three months.

Republicans are asking that congress passed a budget they're taking political -- at the US senate here.

Because in the US senate they have not passed a budget.

In a few years so with that they get Democrats on the record in the senate with a budget that's something they've been hoping to do politically they don't have any spending cuts.

As part of this another part of this is that congress won't get paid lawmakers won't get paid if they don't pass a budget.

So this moves that argument off the next three months will be having budget fights every few months in Washington it appears lump sum to look -- have thank -- Rick.
