Saudi on the Dow California's governor Jerry Brown says the formally Golden State's the new tax increases and the spending cuts day -- balance California's budget.

We -- -- -- back on Fantasy Island I think our next guest would agree with me he belongs on -- on just was -- -- The anti government guys who wants to dismantle the basic infrastructure.

Other civilization you and I have -- Disagreement outlook -- Now now now now now now who's being rude and unfair -- -- -- about dismantling government the people of the people have voted for this bullet train.

We -- if they had a chance to go forward again I turn it down.

That's what you think.

I don't agree with that -- that I'd -- you invite me under the pretense no -- -- No no no no governor I don't know don't know governor your -- called us and he wanted to come on the show and now you're unhappy because aren't considered by the market do it.

Well all you got that -- life -- joining -- now Al is Larry Elder.

A -- I greatly admire after that -- -- UK ABC radio host -- welcome to the -- -- good to have you with -- thank you.

Morning -- now what do you make.

Telus really silly -- you feel about California governor Brown's latest budget he says -- back in the black.

Everything's fine and dandy what are you -- Well we're not back in the black and everything is -- fine and dandy Stuart what happened is.

The governor's staff call my show he wanted to come want to talk about a lawsuit that he was finally against the Fed's.

Prisoners have sued.

California claiming that they're being stacked up like airplane food because the prison overcrowding the reason we have prison overcrowding -- because of -- priorities.

The governor has been running around pursuing a bullet train running around pursuing a dealing with global warming instead of doing the number one thing the government -- to do -- -- to protect people and property.

California's literally releasing people early Stewart putting bad guys on the streets.

Who real -- because we have not.

I've gotten our priorities together so I dare to suggest to the governor that we ought to be changing our priorities that he's responsible for -- having a 500 billion dollar.

Unfunded pension liability we ought to get our -- to get -- he got kicked off accuse me of being rude said that he was aghast when in fact he called me and when you call me -- your in my house.

So parts of the interview was about the budget you mentioned the 500 billion dollar pension liability which is really not accounted for in this like this budget.

A so that's actually an accountant wanted to move from the prison inmates being released in security you move from that to the -- of that -- Governor Brown got really funny state.

Give us your opinion on this budget because.

We did very critical on this program very critical indeed I don't believe that California is just fine and dandy but I want European what do you think will.

Well it is not only did not fine and dandy -- we now have the highest our income tax rate.

In the country people are leaving CEO magazine -- -- California for eight years in a -- the worst business business climate of all fifty states in which to do business.

I like -- -- -- sort of a drop to Larry I know beyond I don't mean to disrespect you but look at Californians voted overwhelmingly for this they voted for higher taxes they've voted for -- -- environmental regulation.

You go what you want to.

Unfortunately you're right however -- far as the bullet train.

The train and they cost a hundred billion dollars Californians did in fact more Fort Stewart but now you go to the polls.

Overwhelmingly California's regret it part of the reason is -- -- cooperate without subsidies.

I think I can't think of any train around the world -- operating without subsidies and one of the reasons -- that the governor and -- class when he was on with me the other day if he mentioned.

The Chinese bullet train that penny a bullet train is heavily subsidized and one of the requirements that the voters voted on is that this train operate without subsidies it can't do it.

He's deceiving the voters and our fourth of new role overplayed -- and I didn't do it.

Do you think.

That Californians -- -- -- point all close to a turning point and -- for a generation you've been voting for higher taxes more regulation anti business you name it you've voted for but.

From one -- I'm listening carefully to what -- saying that seems you do you believe that -- close to a turning point.

You know Stewart the whole problem with this with your question is this.

We have no control the world no control group so when President Obama -- about 2% unemployment.

We have no world where we can show if.

No Obama had been there if Reagan policies have been there we -- at 4%.

So -- left wing -- always going to be able to make the argument that I inherited a bad situation and I quote turned it around some early in California economy is doing better now because it did so badly into the governor's now saying the economy has turned around because we're at least paying our bills we're paying our bills because the governor has substantially increased taxes which ultimately it's gonna hurt business bounded down the road.

So yeah actually it and we reached a turning point.

I would say I -- we -- went a long time ago the fact is the American people want a big welfare state but they want attacked other people to pay for -- You know conservative guide you in California you broadcasting to Californians -- you -- you know feel like -- just beat you had extensive for -- Larry.

I sympathize oh my -- I do.

I do but I feel somewhat the way I would think Obama or Jesse Jackson a -- -- with field.

The face of gun violence Stewart in this country is not sandy hook -- -- -- it was it Chicago these guys have been in those cities for a long period of time.

The Chicago have 500 murders last year and is on pace in the years when he thirteen to exceed that.

Where are there so that's how I feel I feel often -- like I'm yelling and screaming nothing's happening and I would feel that Obama and Eric Kahn and reverend Jeremiah Wright -- -- in the same thing in their city a great deal of frustration we.

Like his style mr.

elder and anytime you wanna come and yell and scream -- Vaughn and company -- -- all welcome thanks for being with -- -- appreciate it.

My pleasure -- thank you so.
