The -- house making some big payouts between the years of 2007 and 2011 for example new York city department of corrections has been sued by inmates nearly 8500 times.

More than a 111 million dollars in legal claims that is money that is coming right -- your pocket going right into the pockets of violent convicted criminals.

That's amazing I mean in -- suits as ridiculous as they are they were inmates at -- because they thought their beds were too short.
What we are wondering are -- that they end up costing money because either this idiot the state -- whatever group it is goes out and defends them.
Or they pay off the run and also some case to make them go away and end of this there's no deterrent because.
He's convicted felons have nothing but time and there's a lot of benefits they get to the library right.
There's no difference between this stuff that we receive in the criminal arena -- they send in stuff to judges left and right they they take China jailhouse lawyers have nothing better to do.
There's mostly no merit to it but here's the problem.
Some have merit.
And some -- a nuisance value to the companies that are defending these things they'll throw a couple of grand Adam.
And then the lawyers who are handling some of these cases and again there's lawyers and then there's ones -- just do it in on their own with the lawyers they don't you know what I mean a couple of grand.
I'll keep going tomorrow lawsuits they write his name next -- the telephone and they know which lawyers will take those cases.
And that's a problem and it really piles up and when you look at the payouts just for the department of corrections in New York.
End 2011 it was fifteen million dollars and twenty Tenet was 43 million dollars.

We don't wanna do that some people have valid claims is there way to strike a better balance in your minds.
There were some suggestions and I came up with first of all those attorneys were handling some these cases -- no.

Plaintiff lawyers will say.

Well who's the insurance whiff of that company never -- they don't pay out they won't they won't write the 2000 101000 dollar check.
So if they in the short term -- hit by having a litigate some of these things may -- the lawyers won't take the case.

I can't imagine inmate has money to pay them they're only doing it because if there's a pay up they get a -- ports so -- -- generally leads what contingency yeah it would have -- a lot of time in.
