Well the explosion of online shopping is meant big business for Amazon and now the Internet giant is expanding and investing.

Increasing its fulfillment centers -- items are packed and shipped from weeks back in 2009 out of 47.

Robinson -- township New Jersey will be the new home of one of these fulfillment centers.

Amazon is investing 200 million dollars -- promise is at least 700 new jobs in 22 million in tax revenue over time.

-- this this construction project is gonna happen very fast that should start in the next couple months and be completed sometime at the end of 2014.

Why kids Amazon she's -- -- township what is it about your town is -- the logistics this is the fulfillment -- -- shipping is key.

-- did they could -- we have a great location you know our town really is centrally located in the middle state we have through 195 and that's part of our town as well as the turnpike so very easy to go north south and east and west.

We've also had a good reputation of -- fortune 500 companies to our town we've gotten very good at bringing projects and on time.

And making the process more business oriented as opposed to what people are used to in government we talk about.

Projects -- come into our town in terms of customers and really trying to make it easier for business to do business with government.

Your budget 22 point three million dollars when he 122013.

Amazon is promising 22 million in tax revenues at first blush I thought.

How in one year they're gonna make up the entire budget but this is over time so tell me what this tax revenue will meet your township.

It is over time in which it was -- when your average.

In terms of your government's very very hard veto in terms of taxes going up every year so this will actually allow us to stabilize taxes maybe even bring taxes down and million dollars a year to.

To town our size as a as a very big deal and they're being able to offer 14100 jobs is is really something absolutely amazing and for the kids are coming home from school this -- almost.

Guaranteed job you know for everyone in our town when that real for them as well.

And it's the mentioned that Amazon is saying.

The average salary -- -- it's -- 55000.

Dollars a year that's 2030% more they say -- the average retail jobs that's.

That's significant and that could create a nice ripple effect of the local economy absolutely these are great jobs and in addition to having great salaries are also offering a lot of -- employee stock options.

This is going to be a real opportunity for -- for a lot of people managers who desperately need them they are so many struggling municipalities.

Out there wouldn't it be nice if Amazon could just open a fulfillment picture in all of these.

I know you told us to explain my Robin still -- -- -- -- This fulfillment center this huge investment by Amazon but you -- advice for any other.

Townships from -- country your situation at a really struggling with their fiscal challenges absolutely this is -- long.

Process and that we brought in Mercedes-Benz and a number of fortune 500 coming companies up the credit to bringing Amazon's New Jersey really goes to Governor Christie but.

They're being able to have a good process really being able to bring people in town and explain.

Why these businesses should be able to be attracted to your town what you have to offer what you're going to be able to do for them it really is -- a sales perspective and government's not -- -- selling so.

You know that's something the -- really have to start doing I've got to get better really attracting these businesses to they have so many choices.
