Good morning everyone JPMorgan Chase says it will pay nearly two billion dollars to settle a case over foreclosure abuses.
That amount includes -- 753.
Million dollar cash payment the bank will also set aside one point two billion dollars for quote.
Foreclosure prevention actions as part of that settlement the bank says it will take a fourth quarter pretax charge of 700 million dollars as result.
JPMorgan which will release its quarterly earnings next week was one of ten banks that agreed on Monday eight point five million dollars to -- an investigation into abusive foreclosure practices.
