Well and today a new congress but in reality as -- -- pretty much the same congress but not if California democratic congresswoman Loretta Sanchez.
Has anything to say that congressman very good -- -- you happy new year.
I keep hearing -- and it comes on that many in your party feel emboldened now and that they've got Republicans on the ropes and the house of two years will be -- But he said.
Well you know that's politics at me and -- the beginning of the new -- and then -- that's only really try to put politics aside.
And we try to work together to do the work of the country's south.
I'm hoping that we are not starting a new campaign today that we are -- sit down and figure out what we gotta do to get this country.
Moving again.
But you know I got -- and a pox on both houses here.
-- act of always showing -- -- so let's deal.
Not you personally -- on but I said collectively.
It was like -- -- to get a deal done that ultimately ended up being one of the deal's first suspected of getting done.
Not a lot of spending cuts lot of tax hikes and a lot of people just thrown up their arms and saying wow -- -- as we've gotten.
Beyond out.
Well I had -- that we would have gotten more on the table that we that we did look at cuts in that we would.
Make appropriate cuts because and what happens abrasion on the congress -- well happen.
I mean I think that's there just down there they just very and yet.
Into ranch.
In tres.
Quite frankly up on both sides and so essentially -- you earn a living.
Do addressing -- -- elements.
So that you would address -- -- -- -- And that he would go pack you have to make you sick -- makes them part of the discussion I think everybody needed to put something on -- and -- -- heading your colleagues did not and by the way.
And a lot of -- Republicans would offer up.
You know any any of their own terms of revenue that it known and -- -- -- notice -- about the -- it is on both sides.
But India and particularly with this spending -- it was like nothing.
Nothing well that.
But we welcome back to that spending thing -- you know that -- know you remind you yes now we have do you have pentagon this when you went again.
Well I believe because you do have that -- self -- initially so we're ploy to get something otherwise we're gonna have -- frustration I mean that's a reality but you can basically.
-- -- It cuts you can move you move the nobles.
-- well I want -- trillion is a good goal to cut over the next ten years.
I am I just think that's at one point he's really -- it went for veteran.
That we can't let that happen again that's a round generally yeah the next 10% off of everything I mean -- are -- programs were right would like to eliminate in I would like to try to keep other programs so that's important.
You don't.
I'm -- weren't a couple things that happen in this deal that we -- first of all yes taxes will go up on those people.
Who as a couple make 450000.
Of them capital gains and dividend will go up some.
Some percentage.
But I think those people because when there are some of the first to put something on the table.
And and I don't think -- to demonize the -- the wealthy I think it's a great thing if -- grew up in America our you come to America and you.
Strive to make a business or do something or have an idea.
To become successful and you have to make money from it it's even greater -- That's what makes America and south those people who have you know I want to thank them personally for.
For the fact that they're going to help us right now in this time period.
There are there are also.
-- 2% increases going back on to payroll tax remember we gave that right it's now coming back.
And that's important because that's that actually goes into the Social Security -- so even the very day.
-- minimal minimum wage to workers are actually pretty a little bit on the table.
In late idea right you do yeah -- oversee the first one I've seen you know who -- that the rich and thank you read so there's some sort of a congresswoman you are.
One of those trying to move the ball forward I think left to right and received really well you're right -- -- -- right.
We asked do we have to believe -- have to cut some of that we have to cut spending well and there are places to.
You know and it might that you've -- you have to you have to lose weight -- never do reveal a better -- not PL I.
Yeah.
Well pleased to let me -- in the -- congresswoman thank you always great seeing thank you thank you.
