Just -- in the sixty billion dollar hurricane sandy relief bill in the last -- so now it heads to the house for a possible weekend vote.

And the senate pay it -- passing it's good news for the victims of sandy but the bill is also packed with projects that had nothing to do with the storm.

Like a new roof for the Smithsonian museum I'm -- -- -- like a new roof but.

That's supposed to be for hurricane victims millions for tree plantings in Dallas which sandy did not even past little loan damage.

My next guest says that's why they should have voted against it American majority -- spokesman Ron Meyer.

Rotten I just saw I just saw your tweet and you talking about who.

What was it 200 million dollars for Alaskan fisheries is that we just -- that what what it why Alaska.

-- -- -- -- -- Is the only state -- you actually get paid to live there they don't have to pay taxes they get paid -- -- I think they can afford a little fisheries project if they want it.

But the bigger point is that why was this in the emergency bill -- seen deeper hurricane sandy doesn't make any sense.

Fact the matter Isabel doesn't make sense at all only one out of every six dollars nine billion of the sixty billion dollars will be spent in 2013.

185%.

Doesn't come -- -- -- fourteen and beyond that's not immediate relief.

What this bill is fundamentally is a -- bill but 85% the rest that bill.

All it is -- support what the senate could have done is pass a clean nine billion dollar loan to these what do these states and said hey here's your really been passed that instead.

What they did and by the way Harry Reid said -- we need to come back work on the fiscal cliff now they came back to Washington to get their fix the -- that is in this bill and it's ridiculous.

While -- -- -- like that is as they're trying to cram all this stuff -- before.

The end of the year and it it is every piece of of proponents writing about this is said this is critical you do what before the end of the year because he's victims are sitting there -- it's true the victims are still sitting there.

In horrible conditions and -- in temporary housing in that.

A lot of that debt ends on December 31 and -- in motel room to try to figure out where the go their homes are destroyed.

So is are some urgency some part of this that that can make a difference in somebody's somebody's life next week.

Well is no doubt about it but it when everything -- -- that I think makes the case for why the senate should done this right.

Why put all this pork in -- why way to spilled down it's disgraceful -- a bill like this that has.

Good motives that has good intentions that's gonna help people with -- It's an emergency bill for -- victims why -- you putting your own projects and it's disgraceful it's typical Washington.

It isn't exactly it's had a thing that needs to stop in this city.

And frankly just heard young people like me like folks that I know we're gonna have to pay for stuff like this in our future pay the interest payments.

For this type of baloney.

Where are the young people because.

You know there at the young people turned out to vote in November.

And and yet your generation is going to be the one that -- the bill for all of this where where's the screaming.

Well where's the screaming where are conservatives talking young people frankly.

-- our organization and a few others like young America's foundation are one of the few organizations talking young people who are conservative.

We need to have more concern -- talking that the young people explaining these issues going to college campus is not being afraid to go to college Kansas.

Going to young communities right now we don't do that we -- up oh well that's a liberal -- -- -- liberal environment we can't go there and that's why we're losing that battle.

-- that the conversation take place around colleges to -- connect the dots to say listen we we thought we voted for this inspirational person.

It yet all we're getting is more debt handed to is and again I repeat that Republican and Democrat plans to -- -- all the fiscal cliff.

Have nothing that it are not reducing the deficit one iota.

-- -- -- that's all but I've basically coming up to spend my prime years in the folks I know my friends I'll spend their -- -- years just paying off the interest payments of fact the matter is the interest Social Security.

And Medicare will consume the budget in the near future right when I've probably -- to be starting a business getting my life going.

And my friends who do want to get their life going instead will have be doing is paying taxes being basically indentured servants of the government and this is not impact it's it's actually immoral to have this happen.

And this is what congress is passing on to us and this is why conservatives in the house and in the senate need to be serious about this fiscal cliff stop the -- -- especially about the debt ceiling.

Not just sitting back saying oh well President Obama won the election so we should just -- know if we don't act now my generation will spend our our prime years.

Being service the government and that's not right.

I hope you do -- give you one more step before you go I saw a report today that says the amount of interest that we pay on the debt that China owns.

That -- owns a -- debt is enough to pay for their entire military for the whole year.

So -- we're basically funding with the debt China military but anyway Ron -- Thank you so much I appreciate you can thank god recipient on you bet.
