It's -- Christmas season.

And I think you can tell a lot about a person when you ask them exactly what is on their Christmas list.

So we asked some of our very own -- here at Fox Business what they are dreaming of this holiday season.

And here's what they told us.

Money -- Christmas gift and this is so beyoncé I know but.

Three carat diamond studs and not one point 51 point five -- talking three carats three carats total -- six from Harry Winston.

More sleep a little more little more rest time and we're working a lot of course world peace and media -- jaguar convertible that I.

Well what I'm asking -- here you know you get a laugh I'm asking for -- clean water filter -- think it's not very but.

And I can sit there is Patrick kind of paranoid person but I don't want underwater I'm happy to -- hang -- with my.

Brothers and sisters my -- for Christmas but the first you know asking for for Christmas is I'd love -- -- to clean my office.

But also the biggest thing about Christmas there's no better more wonderful present -- giving great gifts -- twelve year old daughter.

And I'm just -- and here comes the -- -- What a why is it -- men can never pick up after themselves.

Crazy right.

Well anyway in talking to my cohorts here Fox Business I realize this we are all getting back to basics this holiday.

It's been a tough couple of months -- superstore in sandy thousands of homes destroyed and more than 100 people died and that event.

It's -- devastation that many of us are still trying to recover from.

Right here in the building -- sitting -- people who work here are waiting for homes to be rebuilt enjoying the holidays from temporary shelter.

Then there was the new town massacre in Connecticut.

That has influence the attitudes of friends and -- -- people I know even more than sandy.

The tragedy of that day just a week ago in which 26 people lost their lives 24 of them children between the ages of five and ten.

Is a -- that hangs over this usually happy season.

And even so.

I feel grateful this year.

Maybe even more than usual for my great colleagues here at fox for my friends and of course for my family.

Look we live in -- country that yes it has its problems and we talk about those problems every day on the show.

But the bottom line is bits.

He would want to live anywhere else would you I wouldn't.

We have freedom we have opportunity.

And many of us most of us I -- -- have a roof over our heads in -- safe place to sleep at night.

The acting on our -- won't be wrapped in boxes under the tree.

It will be in spending time with our families and our friends.

And we know that now this year better than almost any year I can ever remember.

And that my friends is a blessing.

Merry Christmas.
