But but but -- -- -- -- the Ron Reagan on this.
This is that this is it's it's it's awful policy.
The reason there's disarray in the Republican ranks is that everyone knows it's awful policy.
They have they have painted themselves into a corner.
It's of there is their fault is of the speakers making.
And now he's telling his conference that they have to support.
Pay a tax increase.
Which is analogous know cutting their own throats politically but that other than they know is now.
But they all time animal on tax increases.
It is it is actually is at in -- tax Americans for Tax Reform.
Grover Norquist he says gulf war everybody in this chamber of commerce of the conservative business group they even say go for.
They understand it's enigmatic it's not a perfect solution minutes compromise in this is after all politics.
But you're being a -- yesterday.
Well yet get right.
I am so and so -- about thirty other conservative organizations.
All of -- sign off on this assess us sign off on the opposition to this saying this is terrible policy this -- nothing.
This is a tax increase when what we need to be focusing on spending cuts low.
Everybody's in calories and you get out of town knows you know there isn't a solution in all due respect.
You know -- I understand -- the the political power the political urging the the convulsions.
Of any conservative overall of this.
But you're looking to -- same reality that speaker batteries.
President Obama's relative though I'm sorry.
I think it would expand the reality here -- the reality is that this quote -- quote solution.
Is no solution at all well we'll know they'll know -- what everyone opts not to this up Brett just the -- Nobody has said it's solution nobody.
This is a -- -- to.
Possibly a beach that will lead to a place called reason and rationality.
But it's a human long journey with everyone would it right and and you know what Lou I'm so -- all due respect red back -- -- I am so sick and tired of hearing that a we've been hearing that for years.
From the Republicans look they came to Washington DC they came back in power because they promised amid a solemn commitments to their constituents that -- -- gonna put an end to the runaway spending.
Other -- plus Democrats and here's a reality that's gonna stick and -- -- crawl.
Spending is higher under John Boehner and the Republicans than it was under Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats there comes a point.
What you just have to get honest and you have to do your job or get out of the way.
I actually I agree with you.
Not my problem is I think that they're finally getting honest.
They're admitting they don't know what the heck they're doing.
The president looks like he's trying to figure out a way to screw this up John Boehner has just emerged from weeks of discussion and negotiation if you wanna call -- -- he looks pretty well beat out.
I think refractive cooler than it was -- should not -- clear picture Brent.
That this is a mass but the mess there what is resolve what that I think that this -- -- view -- opportunity -- -- If you guys play purist.
In this deal.
And drive votes away from it.
-- -- which by the way is your best part of the process and that that's they are -- so bit.
But we do know that's the result will be.
About two million people losing their jobs we know the result will be.
It just about 4% off GDP growth.
And if that's -- gonna be the fault of the Republican Party or this president do you really wanna be irresponsible for that.
There's.
-- -- for what as opposed to what.
What in the world couldn't be clearer -- realize youth -- What makes you think.
That what ever they're talking about voting on now is going to prevent all that look my friend what Barack Obama has said every step of the way.
While he files his nails is no to every prop proposal -- Republicans appointed.
He wants maximum taxes and they want to -- look at this we are going from talking about a tenth of one.
Spending cut the tax increase ratio still spending -- -- -- increases and more stimulus spending.
During the presidential campaign will have confirmed it was okay wouldn't -- -- -- let them do you don't know what's gonna happen is.
Is if they pass this on January 1 we're gonna start.
All over again discussing the next tax increase and then next spending plan -- is gonna come a point where this economy is going to collapse what the Republicans ought to do is.
Put forward their vision put -- a fiscally respond right about the Republican -- really exciting direction we're out of time what you're really saying is a Republican should've won the presidency.
-- -- They did they screw that up to it thanks a lot branded element has had run as conservatives -- away -- much.
