I'm Christina Scotty in new York and this is a look at the week ahead in business.
-- live next week will be and the GDP numbers which the Commerce Department releases on Thursday the consensus view of economists is that economic growth.
We'll be around two point 7% which will be in line with its previous reading.
Another big topic next week is housing.
On Wednesday the latest data on housing starts come out.
And on Thursday existing home sales.
Measure of how many previously owned homes were sold in the month of November -- are indicators of how the rebound in housing is progressing.
Other numbers to watch for the monthly empire state manufacturing survey comes out on Monday.
And the more closely watched monthly Philadelphia fed survey which tracks manufacturing trends in the mid Atlantic region coming out on Thursday.
On Friday it's all about the consumer the personal income and spending data being reported as well as the final consumer sentiment reading for December.
