I was.

I was congratulating.

The North Korean.

-- won't tell you why because Shia and art portfolio and order on you.

And they had had so many failures.

And drama launches missiles so I came in telling Connell and Bernard.

Social -- -- and they don't want them but -- dissuade amendment.

Yeah yeah you'd you'd privacy drive to standing an -- and buy yourself that that -- -- -- But had no idea what your vitamin they had that they've had several failures -- includes some recent ones now and you know but this is this is not unexpected because they've been on this path for long time but it's very very worrying because there's nothing really.

If you think about there's nothing really in their way.

From continuing to try to improve their missile technology we have really no leverage our we've done everything weekend at a permanent Chinese don't -- a well on the Chinese it's not in their interest necessarily the last thing they want.

Is a destabilize North Korea on their border.

And then having millions and millions of north Koreans streaming across their border as refugees in the event of some.

They have no interest and that we always underwhelmed our yard and the Chinese are pressuring them to do the right thing well it's not it's not their best interests now.

So on a ten year old effect of -- melons and North Korea China didn't China.

There -- just to get somebody to.

They what they saw that and -- they're doing -- as sexually.

We've got sanctions have been sanctions on on north Koreans for it for for years and years and years.

And what they do is they just take whatever resource they have.

And they don't put into their military.

Resources and so the you know it doesn't matter -- that the North Korean regime that their people are starving and that they have no infrastructure or no support.

I know social services and so.

You know we -- why don't Chinese help.

Well it's because again we we always want to think two people gonna do the right thing states act in the best interest and in China's best interest you know they want -- keep things kind of the status quo.

Spread similar rocket -- this morning just out of control mean.

Mean there's a surprise I don't fall I don't a guy -- it got up and and and now they don't know what to do that and it's but it is it is the I don't wanna make light of it because you know -- north Koreans who -- have been involved in nuclear weapons program for decades and we and we we have pretty good intelligence -- -- not in us that the greatest we have.

-- pretty good intelligence and we know that if they can perfect their delivery systems then they've -- they've kind of gotten to the point where.

-- now we have to deal with that we've always sort of tried -- -- do something a little bit arm's length.

But if if they get that delivery system so that's consistent.

Than we've -- -- we've got to actually face the problem we have to do something other they keep kicking the can down the road with the north Koreans.

Some -- our talk a little.

Mike -- -- it was a necessary for -- -- -- -- you always Covert operational them.

I died I was I'd I was very fortunate to are you -- crude.

But I but I.

I drew we keep the clown off the back of a comic book consented in and they like -- and and I thought it was the it -- circuitous route I didn't intend to do it I kind of I kind of fell into.

The company of of some folks.

Who then thought it might be a good idea you know and before you know you wake up -- -- here in the outfit and it would but I was very fortunate it is I don't wanna make -- sound like a recruiting.

Session but it's and it's a wonderful organization with terrific people what are.

Thank album and does.

This sound a like a mob yet.

Part of stop unlike -- for an.

Bob a lot of CIA does have done all throughout the world it is -- understand straight appearance of men near -- He.

About some -- like -- if it did did it sound Soledad says satellite mob -- I think that's that's -- the best way to put it.

But in -- its he residents -- point the agency is is people tend to think of the agency is is being out there.

-- terminating folks on the streets around the world.

And I think it one of the takeaways I would hope from the war on terror and and all the transparency that came from then and the fact that you know they release the justice memos and and in terms of the interrogation program.

And I'd I would hope it's one of the takeaways from people who were paying attention would be that the only did did the CIA is actually -- very sort of you know risk vs gain organization in other senate -- -- cowboys out they're just doing things we've got executive orders in place of mean we you know we we have real limits on.

Just getting out there and you know men behaving badly and we have you know we have -- we have to be very cautious and careful about what we do.

Prior to any operation self.

You know I'd -- again.

It yeah I'm subjective and people out there listening and thinking -- its.

It's photographed -- -- yeah.

And I like I look at me like that I thought I suspect some of the viewers that listen like that -- but it's it's it's true.

The CIA is is probably the most transparent Intel organization out there.

And because and there are a lot of checks and balances and now we get the job done I'm not saying that now but we're careful about it of course.

But does fortunes on our surprise -- break the terrorists I think.

I think that he is probably in a position where for pride I think the present -- want to just continue to push that nomination.

I think she's a Smart individual I think -- completely did the wrong thing by getting out ahead of the game she did it willingly so it's she's got to answer for it.

How do I think this would be the best choice for secretary of state -- I don't think so.

But we're never gonna find out what happened and -- and -- -- and that's that is and I'm glad you brought that up -- -- that is just a continuing disgrace.

That this thing has dragged on I mean look this -- -- everyone's applauding because now Hillary Clinton's gonna go up and testify.

You've yet to be kidding me the current secretary of state the president should have been up there on September 13 to fourteenth talking about this now we're gonna get her out there at after months and months.

And now this -- there's so many questions but then you look at the the other things that have gone up to Capitol Hill supposedly for an investigation because people outrage outrage is really cheapen this country right now.

It just it it -- and it goes and he won't care more like a much direct who's -- sort Jason the next shiny object.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Nobody else really any -- and still others for America just Edison what happened.

There's a discouraged -- it absolutely is right from the very beginning from there.

That -- the failure to properly secure facility over a year ago when we should have been doing the right thing there.

To that the the decision not to do anything because that's what they did they took a decision not.

To send people not to send -- -- -- jets into doing over flight over the crowd not to do just to do something else and and so when they say well I don't we looked -- always had a risk -- gain -- What a load of crap that's not who we are we would you were the people who try.

And we knew there was a problem we -- -- the problem developing and they watched it.

And their decision was not to try to help not to say that we could save lives probably couldn't frankly given the time line.

But at least we would've made the.

-- -- -- -- -- -- Sure until specially this study editor.

America as a senator thank you burn hazard thank you -- my record -- -- moratorium.

Come -- I'll follow Mosul -- hour.
