And on the news right now -- our top story tonight.

Is -- to raise taxes and how hard we are all about to get hit there are ready a trillion in tax increases baked right into the obamacare -- And that means upper income earners will see hundreds of billions of dollars in tax hikes as it is.

For Democrats that is not -- up with Republican lawmakers backing off the pledged not to raise taxes it's look like tax hikes for the wealthy are certainty joining me for more as.

-- vice president of Americans for Tax Reform.

Thanks so much for joining us to use say a lot of people are missing the fact that obamacare is already baked in -- -- -- of tax hikes for wealthy Americans -- -- it.

-- People talk about the fiscal classes if it's one thing it's three.

There's the obamacare taxes 90% of the taxes are gonna pay for obamacare.

We're delayed until after he got himself safely elected so on the next decade there's a trillion dollars of higher taxes coming.

Five of those big -- start January 1 that's one part.

Part two the bush tax cuts disappear and that's -- 500.

Billion dollar tax increase next year 2013.

And then the third part which is the good thing which is the spending restraint sequester.

Which Obama wants to put off that would save one point two trillion over a decade he wants to put it off and spend one point to try and.

All true but.

You know at this point it seems like it's not resonating with the average American if you go -- you look at the polls quinnipiac just -- -- -- out saying 77% of all Republicans.

Think it's a bad idea for lawmakers promised to never raise taxes.

Under -- I cannot tell -- that Paul -- I'm reading your freedom.

That that the the question was should you not raise taxes on high income earners or whatever -- this is it dead.

To never raise taxes on wealthy on the wealthy under any circumstances.

I -- the pledge of course is not to raise taxes period.

The pledges offset to the American people.

Not to any one group for people child the good news is also when you ask people even the ones who say that it be al-Qaeda raise taxes on high income people.

If we raise taxes for the fiscal clap or for debt ceiling.

Do you believe the loss or raise taxes on the middle class.

Sixty plus percent of Americans understand.

That once the politicians get the blood lust out there once they smell the blood in the water once they raise taxes on the few.

They go after.

I actually believe that's right but I think that the point is.

That the idea for the pledge and also you know bid that the Republicans are losing momentum on the side of not raising taxes that is starting to feel more and more like.

There must be some concession there must be some caving.

To get through this fiscal -- when you look at the senators who have sad that they're going back on the pledged Lindsey Graham Bob Barker Tom Coburn Lamar Alexander Eric Cantor.

What do you do at this point.

To keep the fight going or do you think that it's necessary to concede a little bit of ground.

But two things that the senators.

The Republican senators to a certain extent don't matter because the democratic senate passed a tax increase if they want.

Plus the senator Jim mentioned have all said they would.

Only vote for tax increase if they got massive permanent.

Entitlement reforms of the kind that Harry Reid and the president announced they're not doing.

So even -- Coburn broke his commitment to the people of Oklahoma which he got elected with a written commitment not to raise taxes at all.

His new statement is -- he might raise taxes a little.

Of course we're DI feel -- -- China's turning against you and it's necessary to give it a little bit to get a deal done or not.

Well first of all there's no need to raise taxes to get -- -- Obama.

Two years ago extended all the bush tax cuts for two years there's no reason not to do that again his -- he's not gonna agree to it -- I mean it seems like the only way to get a deal done here is to give an inch of ground.

Well there's no DL if he wants to raise taxes he can beat out any Republicans -- pass through the house.

Making those tax cuts permanent if the senate which hasn't acted hasn't voted -- member.

The reason why we have this odd position of some of the weird calling that you're talking about which is different than traditional polling.

Is that we've had a news -- about what goes on inside these negotiations.

We've been insisting that we should have.

Those negotiations between Boehner -- everybody forgets Harry Reid's in the room.

And Obama -- C span cameras there so that every American can see what actually happened and if they saw what they're talking about.

We have a much better deal at the end of the.

I I I think we'd all be -- agony we watch what was happening their permit eggs are coming -- -- Still wants the whole thing but somebody could tighten what happened -- now our anchor ever thanks so much here.
