The -- thank you.

And more on those sanctions against Iran according to a report out today from the institute for international finance are run.

Is in a recession but calls again nations are not -- a little from the country.

Yeah -- -- the GDP it's expected to shrink three and a half percent this year compared to one point 2% increase last year so that's.

With supposedly going on over -- let's -- colonel Oliver North and host of war stories on Fox News among many other ventures.

Thank you sir for coming in my pleasure -- -- who is this all good news or will we be careful we see something like this coming out of Iran.

Well I wanted to give that as -- cautionary tale if what those who are -- administration think that economic sanctions alone.

Which no doubt have caused this recession.

Are going to solve the problem I give you as exhibit one.

North Korea.

We're grass is the vegetables right and I would point out too that the economy of North Korea is a disaster that people are source magnitude and there's still an issue and the economic sanctions against North Korea not stop them from building nuclear weapons Intercontinental ballistic missiles missiles.

And supporting terrorism around the world.

They are the number one provider.

In spite of the disaster of the North Korean economy.

-- of Intercontinental ballistic missile equipment.

To a -- so uranium.

Effort is not going to be stopped.

-- -- the sanctions are not going to stop their acquisition of nuclear weapons by themselves it's going to take something much much more what is that.

Much more well I.

I would point out too that that they are still able to obtain machine parts there's still able to obtain centrifuges there's still able to read it it get the equipment that they need.

To refine and create a nuclear weapon with the Iranian.

What -- call highly enriched uranium that's the process.

That they've been on now for the better part of two years.

That we know -- Ever since we thought first thought that they -- stopped.

Right back in 2003 they didn't.

And what we now know is that they're able to obtain those parts through the underground through subterfuge to the black market.

That continues the AQ Khan network from Pakistan that started all of this is still very active out there.

The only real hope you have short of military action to keep them is a change of government which this -- economic decline in -- Could help bring about that it won't happen without overt or at least Covert American support for.

Adequacy movement elections right next year found no mean not there were counting on the most honest elections or anything like that to be not to be overly naive about it but -- you think that the economy struggling.

Leadership changes -- what I mean we've seen evidence of how economies cause -- -- political change I mean they eastern European stability Communist bloc satellite of the Soviet empire.

The collapse of the Soviet economy in that of the Eastern Europe back in the eighties brought us the whole revival with a wall coming down.

Those kinds of things can still happen and -- but they have to be given the kind of support.

The Ronald Reagan gave.

To the polish and the east Europeans.

Back when it was not a popular thing to do because there were people thought it was gonna push us to the brink of war with the Soviet empire do you believe that the current net Obama administration is willing to.

Provide that kind of support no and that's why I wrote the book euros proved I mean that's -- the book heroes proved is about what happens.

If you don't do the right things to support democracy.

You don't do the right kinds of things to deter adversaries like -- -- in North Korea.

Quite frankly we're not doing enough for the right kinds of -- so it's not a work affection.

Well it's it's not all it is a novel and and it's been very very successful about to launch the second phase of the book tour.

But this is about an administration that does not do the right things just as we're not doing the right things now.

It's obviously a great read for those who got soldiers sailors airmen Guardsmen and Marines serving in faraway places -- Oliver North dot com for signed copies before the holidays ago.

I'll leave jurors from for new that -- finished in this colonel north thank you very much good luck by the web position in the second round of the put to right to say -- --
