-- I -- -- and still they keep going around in a circle.
And they go denying the -- -- This is terrible it's getting worse it not getting better.
They blame George Bush for Katrina.
Where's Obama.
For sandy.
How much time left to wait I've been waiting for a month.
So while they were suffering CMO was shopping -- dot com obtaining steamy emails that are making sandy victims even angrier.
11 responders saying when he got to New Jersey.
They told us to go to the Wal-Mart nearby.
Because they didn't have assignments -- them and at the and administrators and my people are being -- because I'd say.
John -- a sad island resident is volunteer to help victims he -- within hours of the storm.
And even those who don't necessarily flip over him personally.
Are quickly acknowledging that he -- and continues to get more done to help people out there.
That any institution government or otherwise.
-- good to have you -- -- -- banks to have me and now before gets gotta wanna tell you borrow folk hero now in -- down because you won the first voices.
To allow me to phone into the show and talk about.
Where we will lacking on resources and stand now particularly with FEMA -- good -- talking about this issue again.
But before that I've been ordered.
To present you with this guy and rescue this is all volunteer organization.
This is our T -- only given -- -- volunteers who putting in efforts and your effort to help us and keep the word out about that -- as well.
On tell anybody eventually honored and you know what was that is the catalyst -- that we were watching these press conferences.
We're you know all these officials both parties you know slept at each other -- back consoles iPods it would a great job they're doing.
And and and then reminded -- people out in your Feinberg has that now.
It's not happening there's no help on the way there's no white horse on the witness nothing on the way.
And and it was a big disconnect between the back slapping and and folks on your -- through.
And what's images raise and a finger what happened.
You know as I told you back on November 3 a couple days after the disaster we saw are a whole load of FEMA and homeland securities representatives.
Driving down the streets and marching around with their reflective gear in that clip -- but they weren't doing exactly what this guy said there was sightseeing.
They would taken a look around and surveying the situation but they weren't jumping into action and just to give you one kind of practical example -- When we set up the volunteers sent -- -- VFW post that we're at right now and we want to get some of the stuff indoors we asked the commander he said you can but there's mold in there are ready.
I grabbed a couple of FEMA guys and said -- we need some help we need to clean this up so we can store some food and -- said we don't have any people for that.
I called a friend who -- accompanying the mold doctor and I said Tom we need help down here and within twenty minutes he had ten guys down there.
They clean the whole place -- ended up and we started loading goods in and people started coming and taking it so just give me an example.
The private sector are no volunteers on the ground have given so much more to the relief efforts immediately.
Than anything we've seen out of FEMA so far.
-- -- -- -- -- team and I don't deny your -- active its heart is always in the right place wants up -- is the government is as if you have data training program.
And wait for training program to to help people.
I always -- you had that builds in training program going ready to go up.
But apparently not well.
I did have the opportunity today to speak in person -- couple of FEMA reps and I asked him about this topic -- said.
There's a Fox News report out saying that you guys had people sightseeing in not responding and there are mixed -- was to your point was.
That there are bringing in what's called this surge force which of people from other government -- -- That respond to disasters and people coming in from Washington -- Massachusetts.
And the regular people from FEMA they're trying -- -- but -- does not getting direction but what they're telling me is when they get to town.
That's when they have to train them for two to four days and you would think.
The federal government would train them before they get to town so they can help people immediately and it seems like once again.
The feds don't have everything in order and we are ready made the mistakes on Katrina you'd think they would fix it for this one.
And hasn't been that I -- you gender its -- as a mechanism used you sort of problem that it's your home and -- And -- it's not great attitude is not just me.
It's me my brother and probably -- -- hundred people.
I don't want take any -- the credit because it's been a group community effort and it's been fantastic we know -- helping people.
That's all the matters to us.
And I hope you folks who -- -- you Wall Street that cats or they don't colonel.
This is about the only operation getting anything done -- Staten Island and he did it all on results.
Without the government.
Meanwhile why it.
