-- the unemployment rate for African Americans compared to total jobless rate there's a huge disconnect here.

Joining me now carry -- national black chamber of commerce president and CEO.

Why the disconnect -- we have record unemployment levels for African Americans in this country right now do you think.

Right I think it started with the great society that brought us to this point we have the poverty industrial complex.

-- our call it that we have a high number of people who feel that they can stay home.

And collect checks collect food stamps collect free -- is collect all -- goodies from the federal government.

And our president.

Barack Obama has and some -- is that even more so increased food stamps to record levels.

Why don't we take all of the money.

That we spend on poverty and tired property which is a misnomer take all those monies collectively.

And put it in a pool.

And start spending that money Q jobs to work out adding people paychecks.

Let me -- as you're known your very well known for being someone -- the African Americans knew it comes as a starting businesses starting small businesses.

What we're saying not just of the national unemployment rate which is covering get a percentage -- -- -- never were also saying.

A lot of pressure on small businesses from the administration whether it's taxes regulation you name it those small business owners and particularly the African American owners are not.

Growing their business is what would you say to the administration right now to incentivize small business owners in your community.

Close up the Environmental Protection Agency -- they've got 6000.

Regulations.

Coming down the pike in the next few months.

There are going to be taxing them finding and assessing fees to small businesses.

The obamacare.

Is part of a book -- -- record number of businesses.

Out of business because of the the enforce.

The mandate of providing health -- you can afford.

You know.

It also you say that basically that what we're doing is as that is poverty nation as you call it the incentivized poverty of this nation is.

Is draining the US tax Payer.

You're talking about entitlement programs are talking about welfare do you think that we had any chance of addressing those issues in this fiscal -- debate -- And to fiscal who have no it is gonna take some strong leadership that has yet to step forward.

But I in my lifetime I would love to see that in dean of all these poverty programs.

Transformed into.

Job creation -- people go to work.

Or else their own their own.
