Environment that is right for business I think in in Phoenix and Arizona we are trying to get things right over the long haul we can build a more diverse sustainable high wage economy I think we're headed in the right direction just out of interest I'm not being flip him it -- well.

Sure that we have a a tax credit for if you hire high wage jobs if you bring manufacturing to our state you're gonna get a tax credit.
-- resurgent development you'll get it you'll get a tax credit if you wouldn't engage in sustainability green jobs.
You'll get a get a tax credit look we saw the landscape around the country and we wanted to make sure we -- as competitive -- as possible a lot of it is not going to be companies moving from California.
But at this economy improves a lot of a lot of company is going to be expanding.
And we want them to look at our city our state as they make those important expansion did you particularly get for those high wage jobs did you actually go to California -- -- -- And then -- -- and -- and loose.
I have been there -- and I will be there again sure look we travel anywhere in the country -- can.
To be competitive on the on the job market -- -- competitive environment and by the way.
People fly to Phoenix and try to talk to our local companies as they look to expand and grow and as as a pop -- -- -- -- LA sources of competitive environment.
How about Illinois and we all know that California is in dire financial shape we know vast but Illinois is as well.
And Illinois doesn't have as good climates as California does not mean weather wise you go up -- and try to bring him down.
Sure we have.
In the job recruitment business.
You look around the country for where the best opportunities are but again you you if you're not just gonna sweet talk these companies.
You gotta make sure you have the fundamentals right not just tax policy but you gotta have.
Great neighborhood you got to have great arts and culture you gotta be committed to education you gotta have a quality of life that these employees so that they're gonna try to recruit.
Are gonna wanna live -- so workforce development making sure you have the right people in place which were lucky enough to have we have a great workforce here in Arizona is one of our competitive advantages.
You're a Democrat.
You're you're you're a Democrat and video you're you're you're offering you know -- good business client.
Tax subsidies tax breaks you know.
You're offering relief from those wicked environment -- -- restrictions that are in place in California and -- your head.
Democrat is that not something of a contradiction value -- No you gotta be Smart about economic development you gotta be Smart about economic.
Policy look I've got to fight just as part of -- -- for.
Our schools and education could over the long haul unless you have an education system that people have confidence in.
You're not gonna build the long term sustainable.
Diverse economy so.
One is not the opposite of the other and you shouldn't say -- on one side of the aisle or the other right I view that as an old way of thinking.
