Retailers may want to forget calling it Cyber Monday and just start calling it cyber week after consumers spent billions of dollars on line.

Cyber Monday spending hit one point five billion dollars as expected to 17% increase over 2011 but consumers spent more than one billion dollars on Tuesday and Wednesday.

For the week following Thanksgiving online spending reached five point five billion bucks which is 11% better than 2011.
