Remember that all the -- Bobby McFerrin song don't worry be happy.

A massive new study of young people in two dozen countries around the world offers a new approach yes worry.

But be happy anyway -- com media international has just released a groundbreaking study on the group.

-- -- and joining us is the CEO Bob back -- thanks for being with us.

So you did this big survey and what kind of big things you -- -- fall something like 70%.

Feel personally touched by the.

Mobile slump well Dennis thank first thanks for having us here today.

You know we as Viacom believe in research we do a lot of research all around the world on a regular basis because we need to understand the audiences we served.

Someone -- are obviously a big audience that we serve.

930 years old and TVs are most widely distributed brandished by two and a half billion -- on the planet so clearly important demographic to understand.

This is the biggest study we've ever done.

Last -- -- we did was 2006 here as you said we did twenty -- I'm 24 countries roughly 151000 interviews and all other wraparound data.

Out of it came a couple big things first thing they are not surprisingly worried about the state of the global economy they're very worried about unemployment.

This is not a trend we see across all the countries we've looked out.

And and so you know you see some of the statistics 68%.

Feel personally touched by the global slump.

Now that number not surprisingly -- higher in places like Southern Europe 85% of -- Italy -- -- 81% in Greece etc.

It's still 71% of the US so big concern there but -- -- most interesting thing for me they came out of the studies the second point.

And it's really because it's counter intuitive.

At the same time and you mention it when we started don't worry be happy this relative to the prior studies we've done is actually the happiness millennial generation.

Friend you know is it.

76% describe themselves as -- very happy.

They're happy if that Mexico Argentina Brazil and only 33%.

Say they are -- -- 7% to have been affected by the slump.

But 33% feel -- -- There really my.

-- about about -- -- personal must be good to be younger than you and I little bit more stressed out than that yeah.

-- -- -- -- On the reality is.

They're very comfortable with their lives they love their parents they love their friends they feel more connected than ever and that is really helping with -- happiness quotient if you will.

They're less worried believe they're not about driving a great car about being rich.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Bob back cash thanks fans appreciate it okay --
