Right Peter read onset now he -- in MLS segment.

Meditate every morning.

I DO I did have fifteen to 20 minutes each morning fast and -- -- -- -- it's great you can just block -- all out and actually doing in the evenings to before densely.

It's you know -- a lot of people say they don't have time to meditate and I actually had an -- to maintain I mean that.

The idea with -- all of us we're so busy.

Of literally doing nothing.

Right do nothing for.

Fifteen minutes for many minutes seems crazy right it seems absurd hardest thing is it's it seems hard.

It's hard to finance -- but -- can't -- might so that's one thing -- to actually -- your mind.

But just the idea of sitting down and do nothing for twenty minutes when we're so busy seems hard to -- and -- -- can't.

And -- three kids have three kids.

And and sometimes they you know what's great actually is sometimes a B meditating in the morning could do -- -- -- -- first moment -- -- -- -- -- -- walk -- And outcome and will set up my lap.

And they'll just sit there while meditating in the know not to speak to the vote to sort of sit there for ten minutes and and settle -- and it's a great -- Great thing it's really yeah.

So what are the benefits of meditation so that -- On the one hand it's just really relaxed right to actually breathe.

But there's there's and are -- to -- you know there's sort of return on investment and there's there's a practical reason meditated what I found it.

Is that.

We're living at a time when it's never been so important to be able to manage.

Our purchase right yeah I'm I'm I'm working until we have writing something and -- I'm writing a proposal and whatever it is I'm working on.

The desire to go eat something the desired -- -- in a meeting to interrupt someone the desire to.

The kind of get in my own way exists all the time I mean you're constantly getting emails of people telling you to go by this -- -- -- check this out.

And and they're -- it's tempting to do that right I mean it's sort of think about.

Lost the TV so lost right we were all hooked to lost right we all watched episode -- that's it.

Nothing happened for four years right on the program and yet it was tempting -- -- you know it's hard to resist the urge to say what might happen next.

So one of the things that meditation does for you is it.

Allows you that the game of meditation is can you resist your urges that you sit.

And as soon as you said you take it I don't they'll speak about myself I said and I take a deep breath.

And I start to relax and I think I'll have to make a phone call election make a note about -- oh I don't wanna forget that -- title for my next book oh I should apologize to as a all of these thoughts -- -- and that's the stuff that's flowing for our minds all the time and it's not just because we've slowed down it's always happening.

And you take a deep breath and the -- the rules of the game is you can't move.

Read the rules of the game -- all those things are gonna figure noted that back -- fractured nose don't get up and write a little notes that you don't forget something.

Just bringing it right.

And then suddenly -- a meeting and I want to interrupt someone.

And I know it's probably not a great idea and yet I have the strong urge to do it and I bring myself back to that meditation and I say.

Just get a -- and I will have time to make my point and right now its most important for them to do the talking.

So it you know to me sitting.

And resisting those -- has this practical effect.

And our own business right in my business -- right and they've done amazing -- -- citizens rate.

Experiment the -- experiment of the 1970s.

Where they took kids a four year olds five real secure us and they put a -- of front of -- And they syndicate -- Marshall and but if you wait.

I'm gonna leave the room if you wait until like come back and you haven't eaten the marshmallow.

I give you an excellent policy kept him arsenals -- sort of this one -- And it's great to watch these videos of the things that kids do.

To distract themselves you know some of them will make a little animal out of that we'll talk to it some of them as -- as soon as the video and as soon as the researcher leaves the room.

And -- it right away.

And but they've done research because it was done in my concerns about four years.

The kids who were able to resist -- urge to eat that marshmallow -- higher SAT scores.

I'm -- I hope -- -- that higher SAT scores more effective longer lasting relationships.

They did better you know financially that.

Because that ability to just not follow the immediate -- absolutely leads towards -- As a kid which is able not to eat there are no way I would -- be handled yeah I'm right right Palestinian and -- a fact I would I would it would have been very hard for me.

To not in -- -- don't tell if I felt like.

I was gonna get in trouble for -- than ever since -- and that I think I wouldn't it be in the market.

Hello I would have been beer everybody here you know the -- and then he had typical -- -- the report by second Mexican government.

So -- a -- loan rate proponent of meditating yeah it's very easy you sit.

And you -- -- and we should all do that eliminate the clutter it up making more focused and it's all circulates in business it's chaos that other people so exactly will start with two minute today.

And you -- build about a minute today and then there's a lot of time when candidates is gonna feel like a think he's -- if we -- that screen time right now.

-- Atlanta sat right now than what that is up.

-- -- -- It we'll see you back here tomorrow.
