Or continue to doubt pastor Rick Warren are a little one thing he argued it's for the rich paying more in taxes I want -- got about this is that.

It that is expected of them they've they've profited and and live very well.

And and they have to give something back I always go back and say well you know and a lot of people don't pay any taxes at all some quite genuinely but it's gotten to the point -- -- -- don't.

And and that seems a little screwy but you that as it may do the rich have an obligation.

To pay more in tax.

It's.

Well first let me just say and -- alleged that question first let me say the Bible does not have.

A lot of economic.

System with things saying this is that there are economic prints that they give this event of the season is that right.

It has economic principles the Bible says that the more wealthy.

The more blessed we are the more we are to be a blessing to others.

The Bible doesn't say.

Is that somebody spoke to take that from -- and give it on your behalf it says you are supposed to give it this is the difference between voluntary giving.

And by the way.

The wealthiest people in America when I think people like Bill Gates or Warren -- look at what they're doing they are the most generous.

They are the most generous people.

Bill Gates is given seventy billion dollars toward.

Health.

But care all around the world soak -- any fault that but here's the thing he -- Let's do the brits have a difficult time they mean that -- that it is easier for average prison.

But a lot of the camel to that of a -- to get the than it is to get to -- Heidi is we got -- half heartedly it's you are well wealthy.

Are you pretty much -- you plan on addressing likely have to died because it's going to be hot where you're going.

We have to do what I call the stewardship of affluence in the stewardship of influence.

If I were to say to you Neil at the end of this year.

The American dollars no longer gonna going to be available we're gonna switch to the Japanese yen.

What would you do well if you were Smart man you would switch as much -- view as of your assets.

In -- Japanese yen as possible right now and who -- maintain only enough dollars to get you through to the end of the year.

The -- calls this storing up treasure and haven't.

And that is.

You can't take it with you but you can send it on ahead and you send it on ahead.

By investing in people who are going there and when you help other people the Bible says in as much as you've done it to meet Jesus said you've done it to others.

You can't serve god directly -- you can't see him.

The only way to serve god here on earth is to serve god by serving others and -- to serve god we have our wealth.

We -- to serve god we -- our talents we -- to serve god with our time and we -- to serve god by serving others using those things so.

The mortgage and doesn't mean you have to go to church right because fewer people may be your great parents have -- understanding are going to -- right and what we're talking about the -- Americans even do that -- -- I guess what and ask you is.

In this society where things are changing maybe -- government is the -- Alter.

The debt that.

It's hard to make that sell.

-- let me -- let me give -- my own personal example.

Most people know that I am -- reversed by either in fact we just raised and another percent this year.

I give away 91% of all I make.

And I live on 99 and start there 37 years ago when my wife and I got married we began giving 10% of our income.

A way that's called fighting each year we would raise at least 1%.

On the years we had.

Raises are windfall when you raise it three or 45%.

And -- we're going to tight time tough time and there was no -- -- -- think we don't raise a quarter percent now after 37 years.

I give away 91% of my income and live on nine.

That's been the most fun of my life now I'd much rather be able to do that the number government taxes and give it away because the first place.

I trust myself to give it away better than I trust them.

Right -- that is well -- Real quickly do you think.

God -- first Fox Business over CNBC.

Probably I don't know.

You know because some on the box right now I would say -- you know.

A fantastic seriously is clearly a purpose driven life is the -- one of the greatest upside of -- and most -- rates and as well.

He is a class act congratulations thank you Rick Warren's Saddleback Church pastor -- -- there.

We'll keep that in mind you heard it here -- -- --
