-- from our Los Angeles, California dealt with by Brad did of course of media religious -- -- you name it of course.

Rick Warren pastor the man behind one of the most successful -- ever.

The purpose driven life -- to say that it was an early.

Reader of that.

32 million copies sold -- good to have you back thank you.

On yeah you know in every election.

It seems that that this question always comes up -- would -- be a democratic republic on how to get that that's right.

But out there is an argument that -- is always supported helping.

Poor people those disadvantage.

And that by instinct of course he would be more liberal than he would be conservative -- would be.

More generous.

-- and and -- as the government's response they were authorities' responsibility.

To look after those folks so by definition he'd be a Democrat right.

Well actually the Bible -- -- say it's government's responsibilities says it's my responsibility it's your responsibility.

And it is the church's responsibility.

In Matthew 25 Jesus says I was hungry and you fed me I was thirsty and you gave me -- I was naked.

And you clothed me I was sick and -- you visited me it -- much as you've done this to the least of these you did it to me.

There's one problem of that chapter the word government is a minute.

It's not the responsibility.

Of government.

But in that passage there had a lot of people -- in the words of Jesus and saying oh that's the government's responsibility -- it's my responsibility.

Now this is where I would differ in many ways from both sides in this debate.

Because I would have a third site and that is I would say you need to.

Incentivize.

Generosity.

Rather than tax people and redistribute re distribute it.

You see you don't get any credit I don't get any credit if you tax me.

And then you give my money delta four.

On the other hand if you incentivize.

My generosity.

-- my deductions.

Then I helped the poor and I get credit for because Mike by character grows by being.

More generous.

You'll find that.

America by far the most generous country in the world.

And one of the reasons is because we actually have tax deductions that.

Encourage.

Positive behavior of generosity you go to countries in Europe where the tax rate is much much higher.

The generosity is almost nothing -- because they expect the government to take care of it.

The Bible doesn't teach that it does the government's responsibility.

It teaches at that -- it's my responsibility.

And -- the more the giving is separated from the giver.

The more possibility for waste for graft for problem issues and things like that I know that's what we're gonna see.

Eight and we're we're seeing more of that that whether you agree -- more government -- -- -- Many argue gravity your case you tip your hand held on November 6 that live -- -- when you -- why would anyone jobless today vote to remain the status quo.

Instead it.

Change unemployment some took that to read.

-- put down a Barack Obama.

Well what I mean is this we just spent two billion dollars.

On an election and nothing changed same congress -- said it same White House now.

In recovery terms when they say doing the same thing over and over and over and expecting -- difference is the definition of insanity.

Do we think things are gonna change -- they won't unless people change because we've got the exact same system in place right now.

And so we've got to go back to say.

What's what's the people angle on this why is there a are you so much.

Partisanship.

That we can't even come to deal for the common good.

Yeah and that cases seem like you're saying that and I sort of -- -- -- -- -- jobless today edit -- you don't like being jobless today and that why why would you.

Continue with the guy who has been leading the economy that is produced you being Douglas.

Well I think there's a myth that the government creates jobs.

Entrepreneurs.

Create jobs.

You know I I -- -- let me give a global perspective on this -- the -- years I've been in -- 164.

Countries.

I spent most of the last -- years when I wasn't at my church in little villages training young entrepreneur lowers.

And in developing countries I've watched it I want country the country -- one that would we've been doing the peace plan there.

The poverty rate has decreased by 10% in the last eight years and we're seeing this because.

We teach real simple things like.

How do you create jobs.

And I used it and in a rural agrarian area I use -- -- prostate CO WS.

That a great company has there is like at his -- GO -- -- first the customer must benefit.

You don't have a customer Europe and you -- have a product -- have a business so the customer of this benefit.

Second a great company is.

Below the all enormous benefit.

If you don't make a profit -- you go out of business so the customers benefit the onerous benefit.

The W is the workers must benefit.

This is -- difference by the way between most western.

Culture of businesses and developing countries because -- allowed -- own country you the customer benefits and the owner benefits and everybody else -- slave labor.

In America because we have we've had moral ethics Judeo projects for many years music treat your employees well but the -- customer.

The owner the workers minute and then -- society -- benefits but the company gives back to society.

All right we're in -- what a quick break here around and and you stupidly avoided by question which -- deeply admires.

Coming out -- had a you didn't tip your hand over the comment about a god and in in student in games where you sit I was at a Notre Dame USC game we're pieces of -- for both sides to win.

God didn't have an opinion on that the thought that was very -- -- because a lot of times like him I always ask then then then why discuss -- to New York Mets but that's a a separate issue --
