-- -- -- -- -- -- -- Welcome -- Obama care rate amino but employers.
Are now faced with the challenge of needing to deal with all of this.
New expenses.
So what they've got away is -- they force their employees to pay that twentieth 25 dollars to get the flu shot.
Or -- they end up you know eating the expense of all of these people being out with the flu in the loss of productivity expense writes so just.
-- clear about the way the health -- law obamacare does not provide or does not a mandate -- get a flu shot but it does.
If it's in the it in the plan you didn't it then then you have to get for free right so that you're saying that the employer that must make the choice to -- see more of this is that the point.
Yeah I think -- are gonna see more of this that's exactly right because a lot of these same small employers have also made the decision to convert.
Some of those full time employees to part time employees and they don't have to provide benefits but if they're gonna stay -- full time employees and employers can pay.
And really force employees to engage in more kinds of wellness efforts flu shots being one of them.
As a means of keeping these folks a lot healthier.
And if the consumers don't comply you're gonna see employers getting a lot more aggressive -- because obamacare gives -- -- way to do that.
There's a big debate and we could happen some time to have the all the intricacies intricacies of it today in terms of that is where the Obama health care law goes -- where it's it it should go but on the issue of preventative care and specifically flu shots.
From a medical perspective is it is it a good idea to get a flu shot.
Or or or should it be something that you require yourself to -- is that you know should you require.
-- you know it's a great question and yes it absolutely is a good idea it's you know especially for those who are elderly those that are -- -- immune compromised or risk of getting infections.
Or those that work with us small children absolutely.
But they think the other important point is that from an employer's perspective.
As I said earlier.
The cost of having somebody -- from work.
It is you know it's significant -- know especially for somebody manufacturing.
You know if somebody is out for a week or ten days because they have the flew back -- be a significant expense because of -- Argument offered -- wanted to ask you medical your medical.
Did you not -- -- -- at -- well I don't wanna be if I'm healthy why put the the virus in my system and that kind of thing -- you send -- a good idea doctor.
