On this I let's talk twinkies -- maker hostess brand issuing an ultimatum to striking workers.

Get back to work by 5 o'clock today the company will be liquidated joining us now is the liquidator himself the man playing hardball the CEO -- we -- great thanks for being with us.

You know this works out as I understand is basically an attempt by you got to separate the union leadership of the bakers union from the rank and file workers -- 5600 guys.

Who that's part of the 181000 people can't you lose their job here how did you deliver this message to him yesterday.

We actually issued a press release.

-- To -- to outline this information and at every plant we -- of that press release out to people that were picketing at those locations if you wanna get that message directly not catch the rank and file decide to go back.

To work and break their own picket line -- union try to go after -- while many of them already -- you know it's interesting though the union leadership and I don't think we're gonna sway them which is why we're trying to appeal to the workers themselves.

The leadership is threatened to fine them if the cross the picket lines the -- sits across their own lines but we've had a number of them crossed their own lines this week.

The problem is we don't have enough crossing those lines to maintain normal production and keep our customers and stock.

So we're appealing to those who are still on the picket line.

Two to go back to work.

Right and avoid putting 181500 people out of work Africa's the -- to represent a lot of the other union workers at your company have actually accepted the package of concessions.

That that you have offered.

And have what's happened with the -- what are they doing in this now they've been very supportive I spoke with leadership their last night the Teamsters actually spent time talking to striking bakers at plants starting at 4 AM this morning.

To basically say.

Look you know the same message we've delivered.

If you don't like the package.

Totally understand that mr.

right okay.

-- go back to work don't put other people out of work don't make other people go home and explain to their families why they have no job and no unemployment and added to 23 million unemployed people in this country go back to work and -- find another job if you don't like it you can leave.

Have you heard of the bakers union since announcing your plan yesterday -- kill it 00.

No word back from them.

Wow well I think there's a lot of -- fans out there I would hate to see this -- disappear Wonder Bread and American staple.

Can't a buyout got this coming eventually and buy a brand name out of bankruptcy and the resurrection -- along.

They can but you have to consider the history here right this company file bankruptcy many years ago -- through a long process and a buyout firm actually came in and bought the company.

They lost every penny they put -- up for a million dollars I redolent every -- right ripple what holdings so it was a horrible investment for them.

Do like do I hope that the brands can survive and someone will take those but certainly I do.

But but that's not gonna help the people and our plants because the enterprise overcapacity all our competitors have too much capacity already they're not gonna come by these plants and even if they did they're not gonna offer better contract they're most of lot of them are nonunion anyway.

And at this point debate energy and -- off the nose to spite the face apparently -- -- love that thanks for being with us Greg Rayburn -- hostess -- appreciate it thank you thank you -- good to have another showdown.
